Myriad of Light

Oh Myriad of light, grant me my wish.

I am but a child, naive and easily scared.

My family is not linked by blood, this much I know.

They are everything that I know.

Oh Myriad of light, let me set sail in your arms.

Let me rest a little, before leaving the nest.

My siblings are outside the door,

Let the lonely child open the gates and greet them.

Oh Myriad of light, the world is beautiful today.

One is giving birth, one is smiling, one is laughing.

The world is a wonder, golden lines and red curtains

Cover the surface and make our hearts beat.

Oh Myriad of light, darkness marks your presence.

It may offer peace, it may seduce, the choice is yours.

What is the world, but a colorful canvas?

Let's hold the brush and make our home.

Oh Myriad of light, let's sit underneath the stars.

Let's watch out for flares and planes.

A castle can be a kingdom, a tree can be a roof.

The crown is heavy, colder than their hands.

Oh Myriad of light, hear my vow.

I am kneeling before you, always your humble servant.

Let's all light candles and lanterns for the world,

Let's hold the torch, carry the way. Here's my vow.
