The day he had joined Goode High, I had befriended Percy Jackson. When he had been a nobody. I had secretly had a crush on him since I met him. Jake and Mike found out but I made them promise not to tell him. Actually, everyone at school knew about my crush on Percy except him. And nobody cared, since all the other girls also liked him as well.
I had waited patiently for so many years for him to ask me out, I had been a god friend, and then he started claiming that he had a girlfriend. I thought it was false, an excuse to avoid other girls. But today, that fake blonde had just entered school with all he fake glamour and KISSED him!
I mean WHAT THE HELL?
How could she just barge in and take him away? I saw the way he looked at her, and my heart shattered into a million pieces.
As the day proceeded, I found out that they had met at the age of 12. That meant she knew him better than me. But I decided not to give up hope. High school relationships didn't last that long. He would see that I was better for him than her. I really hoped....
