[YEJI]

Ryujin was very angry after what happened at the office. Despite there being a satisfied smile on her face, I got a lecture like that. She never tired of repeating that I should take care of myself and think more about my pregnancy. It was admirable of her concern for me and the baby, although I found her reaction a bit exaggerated. Her expression changed from worried to annoyed easily as she drooled in my ear. I listened in silence, not wanting to start an argument with her. I sighed in relief when she ended the rant and sat next to me for a few seconds. She kissed my cheek and got up in search of her clothes. She put them on piece by piece, then picked up the sheets and notebook from the table.

"Where are you going?" she asked, confused.

"To the library." She replied, walking towards the door.

"Why?" I asked, already aware of why.

"It's better this way. I'll be there if you need me." She replied, almost at the office door.

"He is well." I replied smiling.

"No, for this!" She replied angrily.

"I didn't say anything." I said and laughed as I wondered what her thought was.

"Yeji, please. Didn't you hear anything I said?" She asked frowning.

"It's okay, Ryu. I understand." I said sighing.

"Fine. See you later." She said, opening the door, and left without giving me a chance to answer.

I got dressed, thinking about a long shower with Ryujin, but that would have to wait. There was a lot of accumulated work. Ryujin spent the rest of the day cooped up inside the library. I got so distracted by work that I didn't even notice the hours passing by. I was startled when Mrs. Lee knocked on the office door, bringing me lunch. Likewise, I wasn't surprised when she said that Ryujin asked her to bring me something to eat. Even mad, she still cared for me. I dropped the papers and ate alone in the office after Mrs. Lee left. I thought about going to the library to see how the spreadsheets were progressing, but I decided against it. Ryujin might get even angrier, imagining I was there for something else. Which wasn't a bad idea, I would love to have her again. But I couldn't take another lecture from her.

I returned my concentration to what I was doing and worked the rest of the day. When I finished, it was night, I went to the kitchen and made myself a snack. I ate right there slowly, thinking about Ryujin. When I was done, I went upstairs and into my room. Ryujin wasn't there, she was probably avoiding meeting me. I went into the bathroom and turned on the water in the bathtub. I was exhausted and needed a nice shower to ease the tiredness. While it was filling up, I went back to the bedroom and picked out an outfit to wear. Ryujin entered the room like a silent and sneaky cat. She looked at me startled when she realized I was looking at her. She gave me a sheepish smile and said nothing. I smiled and walked into the bathroom, leaving her alone in the room. I wanted to shower with her, but I knew she wouldn't budge. Even so, I left the door unlocked and took off my clothes. I checked the water temperature and entered, feeling the warm water on my body. I relaxed and closed my eyes.

After a while, the bathroom door opened. I kept my eyes closed and waited. I heard her call, but I didn't answer. Likewise, I heard her footsteps approaching. Furthermore, I felt her hand touch my face. I opened my eyes and found Ryujin sitting on the edge of the bathtub. She smiled when she noticed I was watching her. I smiled and held her hand that smoothed my chin. With the other hand, I grabbed her waist and pulled her into the tub. She lost her balance and screamed in fright, but I caught her, preventing her from collapsing on top of me. I put her sitting on my lap and looked at her irritated expression. Wordlessly, I stroked her chin, ignoring her gaze. I only had eyes for her mouth.
