Rosie knew what was going to happen to her if she stopped fighting it. Stopped fighting the monster inside her.
But,her friends were in danger. Injured. And unable to fight back.
So,she did what she had to do.
She let the monster out.
She doubled over in pain when her bone started to shatter,staring from her legs and working it's way up,avoiding her spine.
She watched as her wings rapidly melted their feathers until there was nothing left but the skin,and her wings were pierced by the bones inside.
Her tail bone grew into a proper tail,and the bone on the end grew sharp and pierced her skin.
Her jaw burned with hot agony as her teeth and jaw grew.
Ebony horns spiraled out of the sides of her head,until the stopped growing.
Her vision grew in strength as 5 more eyes formed on her face.
The things she could smell was incredible as her sense of smell grew.
And finally,the scales came,ending the agony.
She looked down at her lion form. And then she snarled.
You don't hurt her friends.
She let out a roar and ran to go defend her friends.
