Max was held up in very durable chains and shackles along with a reinforced muzzle over his snout.
You came into his cell room and saw his eyes looking right at you with a mild glow in them. He didn't show any signs of aggressive behavior but you noticed his ears shot up when he heard you call out his name.
Max used to be a normal four-legged grey wolf until he was experimented on by your superiors, and now he was a hulking canine capable of immeasurable strength and durability.
You also discovered that max is very intelligent yet he shows common canine behavior, so you hesitated in reaching your hand up and placed it on his furry broad chest, feeling his heavy heartbeat.
This mad the beast shiver and flinch from the foreign contact yet he reluctantly accepted it. You took up the job to tend to max should he get hungry or injured but you were afraid to approach or touch him, until now.
