AFTER RIRI AND ACE DROPPED YOU OFF AT HOME
Y/N POV

I got one of T'Challa's hoodies that Shuri gave me after he died and put it on and just sat on the floor and put my airpods in playing music while I was just thinking about...everything. For instance how life would be if I was never born how my parents probably still be alive and maybe happy. How Shuri could've had a better friendship then me growing up and been normal. How much easier everyone's lives could be better not having to take care of me. How much money that can and could've been saved if they didn't have to buy me things.

Thinking about all the times I've fucked up and embarrassing moments. Thinking about all my imperfections my face, my body, my hair, my skin, MY EVERYTHING. I'm really really fucking tired of feeling empty and useless, like I have no purpose. Then I remembered that I had some sleeping pills, so I got the pills and took 4 and laid down

TWO DAYS LATER

I woke up by a bright light and faint beeping then realization hit me. I'm in the hospital. I looked around the room not seeing anyone, I saw a nurse button in my hand so I pressed it obviously and a nurse came in.

"What day is it" I asked
"It's Tuesday miss" The nurse replied
"Oh...what happened" I asked still adjusting to the place
"You had took a sleeping medication and you were asleep for two days" she said
"What time is it and is there a phone I could use" I asked
"It's 8:07 a.m. and foster mom brought your phone lemme go get it for you I'll be back" She said
"Wait what's your name" I said curiously
"Catherine" she said walking out

Shit I just wanted to get some sleep not end up in a hospital. I told myself that I would never do it again but here I am 3rd times the charm right. I laughed to myself, then Catherine came back with my phone.

"Here you go on 100%" Catherine said handing me my phone
"Thanks do you know when I could possibly go home" I asked
"Maybe at the end of the week for safety purposes. Did you need anything else" She asked
"Um some water would be nice" I said
"Ok water comming right up" She said walking out

I started looking at my phone seeing all the missed calls and messages. I saw one that messed with me a little
"Mom?" I said confused looking at the notification. My mom called me twice so I called back.

"Hello" I said nervously

"Y/n what did you do" My mom said upset

"Mom I'm sorry I-" she cut me off

"WHAT DID YOU DO Y/N" she raised her voice

"I took four sleeping pills and I'm currently in the hospital"

"Y/n your such an embarrassment and a disappointment to this family first you do the same thing here TWICE and then do it again with your new family. I see way Tanya gave you up to your father your such a fuck up she should've aborted you, I'm surprised that anyone wanted you in there home, your the reason that your mother is dead. Your the reason that I never got to tell my sister that I love her one last time. Did you know that?

I stayed quiet

"You know your better off like your mother. DEAD

"I-"

"You what, there is nothing that you can do to bring my sister back so I don't wanna hear anything you have to say. NEVER call my phone again"

And with that she hung up the phone.

At this point I'm crying and I don't know what to do this doesn't make me feel any better about myself. It only adds on more to the pain and pressure.

"Y/n are you ok" Catherine asks me with my water in her hands
"Yea I'm fine" I lied just going tru my phone
"You sure" She double checked
"Yea just thinking about everything" I said putting my phone down to give her my attention
"Alright I leave you to it" She said walking out

A FEW HOURS LATER

I check the time and saw that Riri should be out of school but that doesn't mean that she'll be coming.

RIRI POV

Every since y/n has been in the hospital I wanted to stay with her in the hospital but I couldn't because of school, so everyday after school I would go and sit with her for most of my afternoon. But something about today felt different I don't know what but it just seems different

As I walk into the hospital the familer sent fills my noes as I get everything I need so I can go see her. The last time I was here the doctor told me that she should be awake by today but it's a 50 50 chance. When I got into the room she was in the same spot per usual sleeping
"Y/n please wake up" I said laying in the chair next to her bed. Slowly falling asleep.

When I woke up I looked over and saw Y/n and she was awake. She was awake

"Your awake" I said surprised
"Yea I was up for a while" She said
"Can we talk for a minute" I asked
"It's never something when people say "we need to talk" but sure" she giggled but I was serious
"Look y/n if you don't mind me asking why did you do it" I asked standing next to her bed
"I was just tired" she said while patting a spot next to her on the bed signaling for me to sit
"You don't have to lie to me y/n just please why did you do it"
"I already told you I just wanted to get some sleep"
"Fine I won't pressure you but I'm here whenever you wanna talk"
"Thanks, where's your boyfriend" she asked and I started smiling
"Who I don't have a boyfriend"

"Ace, I saw you two making out after yall dropped me off"
"Were not together but he has stuff to do, oh and theres this new guy in science class named Xavier he seems pretty cool"
"He sounds nice"
"Well you can meet him whenever you come back to school, do you know when you will be released"
"My nurse Catherine said that I might get released at the end of the week but I feel amazing"
