Chapter 8

Misaki pov

After a while, we arrived to the castle.

The footman opened the door for me and I stepped out of the carriage.

"Wow" I say in amazement while looking at the castle.

"Now remember what Aikawa said" says the driver.

"Don't worry, I won't forget" I say while smiling.

The driver smiled and then drove off.

I took a deep breath and started to walk up the stairs.

After I got inside, I heard some music playing, so I followed the sound of the music which will lead me to the bathroom.

Akihiko pov

I was bowing to all the guests that were being introduced to me.

I was getting tired and annoyed at all the flirty faces they were making at me.

But I've been looking out for that beautiful boy I met at town.

After a while, two guys walked up to me and bowed, and boy they were really ugly.

They started to make flirty faces at me, which really disgusted me I feel like throwing up.

After they were gone and doing some more bowing to the rest of the guests, I was finally free to walk around the room.

While I was walking, lots of men and women asked me to dance with them but I kept saying no.

But before I could think more, I heard Hiroki's voice from behind me.

"Hey Akihiko" says Hiroki.

I turned around and saw Hiroki gesturing me to come over to him.

"Hey Hiroki" I say while walking over to him.

"Any luck?" Hiroki asks.

"No" I say with a frown.

"I'm sure he's around here somewhere" says Hiroki.

We walked around for a little bit.

But then I stopped.

"What's wrong?" Hiroki asks.

"I see him" I say with a big smile.

"Really, where?" Hiroki asks while looking around.

"Right there" I say while pointing.

Then Hiroki looked at the same direction and saw the boy I was talking about.

"I'm gonna go talk to him" I say.

"Good luck" says Hiroki.

Then I started to walk over to the boy.

Misaki pov

I finally saw where the ballroom was and I started to head their.

I felt my heart pounding fast from feeling nervous and excited.

I just hope I don't run into my step family or else I would be in big trouble.

After I entered the ballroom, I looked around and saw alot of people.

"Wow, their sure is alot of people here" I say in amazement.

But before I could walk more, I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder.

I turned around and was surprised to see who was standing behind me.

It was the man I met in town.

Akihiko pov

I gently placed my hand on the boy's shoulder.

He turned around and looked at me with a surprise look on his face, so I assumed he remembered me which made me feel very happy.

Misaki pov

"Oh hi" I say in surprise.

"Hi, good to see you again" the man says while bowing.

"I'm sorry, I don't know your name" I say in a shy tone.

"Oh forgive me, my name is Akihiko" the man says while smiling.

"Nice to see you again Akihiko" I say.

"What's your name?" Akihiko asks.

"I...uhh" I struggled to answer.

Akihiko pov

I noticed that the boy looked uncomfortable when I asked for his name.

Misaki pov

"It's ok, you don't have to tell me yet I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable" Akihiko says in a soft tone.

"Oh, thank you I'm sorry it's just I'm a little shy" I say shyly.

"That's ok, I don't mind" Akihiko says with a soft smile.

"There sure is alot of people here tonight" I say while looking around.

"Yeah I know, it's pretty hectic" Akihiko says while sighing.

"I know right" I say while nodding.

Then some soft music started to play and people were starting to head to the dance floor.

Akihiko pov

I looked at the boy and held my hand out.

"You wanna dance?" I ask with a soft smile.

Misaki pov

I blushed when Akihiko asked me to dance with him, but I smiled.

"Yes, I'd love to" I say while taking Akihiko's hand.

Then we headed to the dance floor together hand in hand.
