Narrator pov

After Misaki and Akihiko arrived to the dance floor, they were getting ready to dance.

Akihiko placed his hand on Misaki's waist while his other hand held Misaki's hand.

Misaki placed his hand on Akihiko's shoulder while his other hand held Akihiko's hand.

And they began to dance.

Misaki pov

The whole time while I was dancing with Akihiko, I felt my heart pounding fast and my face heating up.

I couldn't keep my eyes off Akihiko's eyes, not even for a second.

"You dance so beautifully" Akihiko says with a soft smile.

I blushed more at his comment.

"Really, you think so?" I ask shyly.

"I do" Akihiko nodded.

"Well, you're a good dancer to" I say.

"Thank you" Akihiko says in a grateful tone.

After a while, the song was over.

"Wanna step outside with me?" Akihiko offered.

"Sure, I need some fresh air" I say while chuckling nervously.

"Same" Akihiko says while nodding.

We stepped outside and we're on a balcony.

The stars were shining real bright and the moon was beautiful.

"It's so beautiful out here" I say.

"Yeah, and it's so peaceful" says Akihiko.

"You're right about that" I say while smiling.

"So, since it's just us why don't we get to know each other" Akihiko suggested.

"Ok, what would you like to know?" I ask in curiosity.

"Well, I know this might be a nosy but you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but are you single?" Akihiko asks.

"Yes I'm single,  I'm actually living with my step family" I say.

"Step family?" Akihiko questioned in confusion.

"Yeah, when I was a kid my mom got sick and passed away, my dad remarried but he died in an accident which left me with my step family" I say while tears formed in my eyes.

I looked away since I didn't want Akihiko to see me cry.

But then, I felt Akihiko's hand touch my cheek and he turned my face.

"I'm so sorry to hear that" Akihiko says while frowning.

"It's ok" I say with a fake smile.

"Do you get along with them?" Akihiko asks.

"Not really" I say while shaking my head.

"Oh" says Akihiko.

"But luckily, I have my friends to be there for me" I say with a small smile.

"Well that's good" Akihiko says while smiling.

"How about you, are you single?" I ask shyly.

"Yes I am" Akihiko nodded.

I felt my heart pounding fast again when he said he was single, but I didn't want to get my hopes up.

"Are they here to?" Akihiko asks in curiosity.
