Not after a day later the incident at the cafe at Roppongi, (Name) was informed by her parents that she will be leaving for (Native Country). (Name) was supposed to leave at the end of the school year originally but the attack changed the course of events drastically. So did what every person in her situation would do, that was arguing with her parents she was after all the youngest and the most loving child.

"Mother can I please remain here for the rest of my year..." she was pouting cutely, trying to melt the heart of her mother.

"(Name), you know why we can't leave you here, it was a bad idea to begin with when the transfer program was announced and you stubbornly decided to take part in it." they were in a hotel room, her mother was sitting on a plush chair and sipping her afternoon tea.

"I swear I'll be more careful this time!"

"But sweetie, it isn't about you being careful or strong at all. We know you are more than capable to protect yourself and the ones around you." she placed the cup down on the table, looking at her daughter from her peripheral, "come here..."

(Name) did as she was told, her mother moved them to the couch. She placed her daughter's head in her lap, "so, tell me, (Name), why is it that you are so eager to stay here?"

Her mother's comforting caresses calmed her nerves, (Name) spoke, "do you remember the girl who was with me that day, I promised her I'll be there for her. So please mother let me be there for her."

Her mother had a pensive look on her face, she answered, "I remember, but I'm sure she has people looking after all. She'll not be alone."

"But mother..."

"(Name), you need to realize, it pains me to say this, the attack was meant for you. That poor girl was caught in a crossfire." (Name) hugged her torso, she knew this, "you don't wish for that to happen, do you?"

(Name) never wished for Saori to get hurt in the first place. At this moment, she was again being selfish. Her mother was right, she was right to worry when (Name) decided it was a good idea to go live in a foreign country just because she was bored of her life back home.
She has been voracious alright.

"You are right, mother."

(-------------------------------)

"(Name), we were thinking of visiting Saori at her house, will you come with us?" Nanami asked, accompanied by two of his seniors; Gojo and Shoko. Suguru was nowhere in sight.

"Of course." she looked back at her parents, "come inside, guys." she moved aside as the teens walked in.

Her father seemed to be distasteful of the boys, Gojo was the first one to introduce himself, "hello, I am Satoru Gojo, you must be (Name)'s parents. You both are very skilled sorcerers and your daughter takes after you." Her Father was not impressed nor he was flattered, but her mother on the other hand greeted her fellows with zeal.

"It's nice to meet you all,"

"Kento Nanami."

"Shoko Ieiri."

"You said you were part of the Gojo clan, right? Satoru at this young age you've made quite the name for yourself around the sorcery world." her mother shook hands with all of them.

"I hoping only the good things, Mrs. (Last Name)?"

"Don't worry, Gojo, I'll fill my mother on the grim details of your life later." she turned to her parents, "I'll be back soon, dont worry."

"(Name), please take care of yourself."

"I'll take care of your daughter---" Satoru was elbowed in his gut by (Name).

(-----------------------------)

It did not take time for them to reach the house of the Sumi family. (Name) observed the interior of the house, the Sumi family was rich evidence from the architecture.

Gojo lead them through the halls, the family did not even bother greeting them. Nanami and (Name) were the ones at the Sumi household for the first time. Shoko told them how she has only been here one time before along with Gojo and Geto. She never visited again because she hated the residents of the house.

"We are here." Gojo pointed at the wooden door, "it's Saori's room."

"Honestly, Saori the only thing you were good for were your looks, now look at you! No wonder the Geto boy hates to be around you."  the voice was muffled due to the closed door but it was a man.

"This bastard..." Gojo hissed, he slid the door open not caring about who was inside, and (Name) knew Gojo had an idea who was inside.

The man in his fifties with the same pair of eyes as Saori looked surprised to see him standing by the doorway, "what are you doing here, Satoru?"

"Visiting my dear sister, do you have an issue with that, uncle?" He didn't bother hiding the bite in his tone. The man did not dare speak in front of Satoru, "if you dont mind leaving us alone." it was an order, not a request; (Name) never saw Gojo being rude to the elderly till today, the man deserved to be disrespected.

The man left the room with his tail between his legs, Satoru's face immediately lit up like a bulb, and he exclaimed, "Saori! I bought chocolates!" the girl covered in burnt marks and scars only smiled seeing them all.

"We also bought board games, so we can play together." the teens gathered around her bed, except (Name). She was scared of approaching her, afraid she will hate her.

"(Name), why are you standing there all by yourself!" Shoko called her, "come join us or Satoru is going to eat all the dorayaki."

(Name) was uncertain of approaching them, Saori spoke clearly, "yes, (Name), come join us." she was smiling, the warmth of her eyes melting away her doubts.

(------------------------------)

She was back in Jujutsu tech, it was her supposed last night here. The only reason she was allowed to spend the night here was because she had all of her stuff there. Nanami was helping her pack, he did not speak clearly of his feelings about her departure but it was evident from the constant scowl on his face that he was not happy.

"Is that all?"

"Lemme check under the table," (Name) picked the side of the bed up, unlike a normal human who will bend down to look under the furniture, "there is nothing under here."

"I'm hungry let's eat something," Nanami spoke as (Name) placed the bed down.

"What do you wanna eat? Dinner is likely over in the mess hall."

"Let's make something..." the pair walked towards the kitchen.

"How about something easy like instant ramen? I love instant ramen." (Name) was getting more hungry every passing minute she was thinking of food.

"We also have some smoked beef sausages in the freezer and eggs as well." Nanami scoured the cabinets for the packets of ramen.

(Name) was searching the fridge, "look, Nanami, mushrooms!" she held the package of mushrooms happily.

"We can use those as well." Nanami prepared the food while (Name) helped him with the preparation.

When they were done, (Name) and Nanami set together to eat. "Nanami this is delicious!"

"(Name), It's just instant ramen."

"I know, but you can make plain instant ramen taste exquisite, what is your secret?" she slurped the noodles gleefully.

"My secret? I dont have one."

"It's my last night here, the least you can do is tell me why are you good at literally everything."

"I'm not good at everything, I'm horrendous when it comes to baking," Nanami told her, she listened carefully to whatever topic he decided to bring up. It's just how Nanami was; cold at the beginning but when you get to know him well, he was a total sweetheart. She was sure she was going to miss his homemade meals the most. after they were done eating, with a heavy heart decided to retire for the night.
