The day has finally arrived...

The Maradova ball...

I looked over to Jamie and see him having the same anxious face. I grabbed his hand and rubbed the back of his hand with my thumb. Jamie sighed and seemed a bit more relaxed after that. He glanced at me in thanks and I nodded. We're coming Ellie and Lottie, hang in there. 

Claude walks in first, making us follow along after him. Everyone there were important people. I scanned the crowd and sure enough, Lottie was there with the group. They seemed to be discussing something so Jamie and I broke off from our group when everyone settled and snuck up to them.

"Lottie, follow us." I spoke, making everyone jump. Saskia's instincts kicked in and immediately jumped in front of the group. 

"Y/n? Jamie? Oh  my god..." Lottie said, eyes tearing up.  

"What are you two doing here? And why are you with the traitor, Jamie?" Anastacia sneered at me. Jamie seemed to get irritated but I pushed him back. 

"Lottie, Ellie's in trouble. She is under the Hamelin Formula and is going to be controlled to kill her parents. You have to come with us to stop her and snap her out of it. Come on there's absolutely no time to losed." I rushed as Jamie grabbed her by her arm. We checked to see where Leviathan stood and sure enough they were all gone besides Claude. 

"They already injected Ellie and are at their stations. Let's go." I said. We walked towards Ellie's room and sure enough, Phi and the duo were already there. 

"You two? And the pumpkin girl?" Ingrid said, staring at us in shock. Phi and Julius turned their attention to us after hearing that. 

"Leave Ellie alone." I said, slowly moving my hand to my dagger. 

"Traitor!" Ingrid snarled, lunging at us. Jamie and I went head to head with the duo as Lottie ran to Ellie. Unfortunately, Phi stopped her. Out of no where, Julius dropped his weapon. 

"What?" Ingrid whipped her head around.

"I'm done. I don't want to fight anymore. I'm on your side prince and princess." Julius dropped to his knees with a guilty look on his face. 

"What are you doing?!" Ingrid screeched. She turned to face him. Her face showed everything, anger, confusion. 

"Ingrid, join me. I know what is the right side to be on now." Julius sighed, looking at his partner. 

"..." Ingrid looked like she had more to say but she didn't. She just let out a loud frustrated yell and threw her weapon on the floor. She too knelt down in front of us with much resistance. 

Phi saw this and seemed to agree with them so she too let Lottie go and knelt. 

"Rise, join us and make things right." Jamie said, like a true ruler. Ha.

I gave Lottie a nod and she started running to Ellie. A second later, we heard a familiar voice. 

"Well looks like you guys have it all covered!" Sayuri smiled.

"Sayuri? Good to see you guys again." I smiled back as Jamie nodded.

Sayuri and her gang stayed with the three, as Jamie and I ran to the ball room. 

When we reached, Lottie was in front of Ellie, stopping her from putting a knife through her father. The royals were standing at the side. The both of us walked towards the podium, watching Lottie do what she had to do. Finally, Lottie kissed Ellie. Everyone was shocked and murmurs went off throughout the room. But that seemed to do it, Ellie was back. Ellie started crying as cheers rang out. The royals went to the two girls as Jamie and I did the same. 

"Thank you for saving us and Ellie Lottie. You will definitely be heavily rewarder, anything you want." the royals smiled. 

"Hey Lottie, you and I have one last thing to finish first." I gave her a knowing smirk. Lottie nodded and we both bolted to where Claude was trying to escape. Julius, Ingrid and Phi all blocked him from getting through the gates though. He stood there shocked so he didn't notice Lottie and me behind him. Lottie gave him a punch while I kicked him in the ribs. 

Claude fell to the ground turning around to see who did that to him. 

"You! After I was going to help you and gave you everything you wanted! And you! You little brat, you ruined everything as well!" Claude shouted as he pointed to me and Lottie respectfully. 

"Take him away guys. Before I kill him." I said, glaring at Claude as Lottie did the same. 

The two of us went back into the ball room and went to where everyone else was gathered. The royals said their thanks again and then turned to me and Jamie.

"Jamie, we are so sorry for hiding the truth from you. We thought it was the best way to keep you safe but now you know. What are you going to do now? And Y/n, we are so thankful that you kept everyone safe, saving us in the end as well. So what will it be Jamie?" the royals looked at him expectantly. 

"Well, there's no way Ellie wants to rule so I suppose, I'll take over and be the next ruler. And I want y/n to be my queen with me." Jamie said. I looked at him in shock. He actually wants me to be a ruler and his queen?! The royals seemed to agree with the idea and smiled. They left to calm the people down and so we were left alone. 

"Hey guys." I greeted. Everyone seemed to not meet my eyes.

"Hey! She is talking to you guys!" Ellie shouted. That woke them up. 

"We're...sorry for calling you a traitor so quickly without knowing anything."

"Hey it's ok. Everything is ok in the end and that's all that counts." I smiled. We were all together again and that's all that mattered.
