When you were 7 years old, your parents passed away, which fortunately forced you to become very close to the leader of the Metkayina clan, Tonowari, and his mate Ronal's family. They basically accepted you as their own child.
Now, at the age of 17...
Saying good night to everyone in the hut, you make your way to your designated area for sleep.
As you lay there trying to sleep, you think back to the conversation you had with Tsireya.
Nothing fun has happened for a while now. Everyday has basically been the same. But you didn't mind, you liked the life you had now.. or did you?

"Look at her, she won't fit in!" you heard noises from the other room. You quietly tried to get closer to listen more.
"She's going to be fine" You heard your mother's voice. She's clearly irritated with this conversation.
"No she isn't! She looks like you!" Your father yelled. You tried to listen even more.
"Oh and it's bad to look like me?" she snapped back.
"No- that's not-" he sighed "she has 5 fingers" You look down at your hand. There was silence in the other room, you tried to keep your breathing low.
"They are going to find out" Your father finally spoke.
"And? It's been 7 years and no one has found out yet. Plus that doesn't make a difference, some people already know like-" your mother started but got interrupted.
"Yeah! People! Your people! But not my people, not the Na'vi" your father stated.
"Listen.. she's basically a freak-'' he added in a lower voice.
Suddenly your ears started to ring. As if everything stopped. Time froze.
Your own father, calling you a freak.
You felt tears forming in your eyes as you quietly back away from the door. You didn't want to hear anymore.
---
Opening your eyes you look around. Everyone was sleeping. Deciding you didn't want to go back to sleep, you left the hut as quiet as possible.
While walking to a special place for you, you realized that you were awake earlier than usual since there were a lot less Metkayina people in sight. Nodding to a few Na'vi as a hello, you finally made it to your destination; your favorite beach.
You found it rather peaceful and really beautiful. You call it the 'Hyacinth beach' since it grows a lot of Hyacinth's. Coincidentally enough, your favorite flower is a water Hyacinth.

Slowly you make your way into the water and sit down. You were only at the shallow part so you didn't have to move your arms or legs to keep yourself above water. You decided it would be best to just sit and think.
