When you were 7 years old, your parents passed away, which fortunately forced you to become very close to the leader of the Metkayina clan, Tonowari, and his mate Ronal's family. They basically accepted you as their own child.
Now, at the age of 17...
"I have a hiding spot here that no one knows about" you said as you started walking into the water, his hand still in yours.
"..the water is cold" Neteyam mumbled as you laughed.
He stals a bit and you turn to face him.
"Is that hiding spot secluded?" he asked carefully.
"Yes?" you answer confused.
"Are you going to beat me up there?" he smiles at the end of his sentence.
You grin and pull his hand, "Come on!"

Once the two of you swam deep enough that you can't touch the soft sand underneath you, you let go of his hand.
"Okay Netty, it's kind of a long swim, so make sure to breathe the way I taught you." you gently spoke.
He nodded and took a deep breath.
As the two of you submerge underwater, you start swimming towards the bottom of the ocean.
Neteyam followed close, witnessing the beauty around him. The water was clear, everything was glowing in different luminous colors. The vivid spectrums were pretty gradient on both your light teal skin and his dark blue skin. The dark atmosphere was enough to make the spots on Neteyam's skin glow up, yet the dark water was illuminated with the colors of each coral, each passing fish or small creature and other marine species that made it light.
Neteyam's attention was suddenly shifted to you again. You were occasionally looking back, to make sure he was still swimming behind you. You looked so angelic, with the colors surrounding you, making your skin look shiny. Your hair was swaying mildly behind you, and the way your body moved was hypnosing.
You then turned to Neteyam and signed to him.
"Come Netty, we are almost there"
He nodded and kept his eyes on you as you turned around and swam deeper through the water.
He then saw what looked like an entrance to a sort of cave. The both of you swam into it and finally resurfaced.
Taking deep breaths, Neteaym looks around, curious to where he is.
The cave was enormous. Different colored lights were splattered amongst it, coming from rare plants and fish creatures. The top of the cave was lit up with some kind of glowing plants making it look like stars.
