You let out a breath and look towards your sister, her hand up covering her mouth and tears lightly streaming down her face.
"Reya," You said softly as you wrapped your arms around her in a hug, "It's... going to be okay." You say with some uncertainty, because really who knows what could happen?
---
It felt like a long time had passed.
And the following events carried so many emotions.
You were mad. Mad at Ao'nung for not talking to you. Mad at him for being friends with such idiots. Mad at him for ignoring you.
You couldn't understand why he wouldn't talk with you the past few days, was it because of this? Because he was planning to leave Lo'ak outside the reef? Because he felt guilty?
It didn't really make sense, but again, he was a guy. You can expect anything from them.
You also felt scared. Scared for Lo'ak. Scared for Ao'nung. Your brother was supposed to be O'lyaktan one day, if something bad happened to Lo'ak...
You were so disappointed in him.
You shake your head to get rid of your thoughts.
You squeeze your hand tighter against Tsireya's. She was so worried for Lo'ak. In fact, she was so confused and frustrated with Ao that she hasn't muttered a single word to him.
"Reya." You get her attention, "You should head back to our hut. Get some rest, you must be tired."
She opened her mouth to say something, to disagree and protest but you quickly cut her off. You let go of her hand and bring both your hands up to her shoulders.
"I know you are worried. But everyone is. We need at least one Na'vi who can think straight in situations like these." You rub her shoulders gently, "Please? I will tell you myself if we get any news."
After a moment of pause, she nods. You smile, "Thanks Reya."
You glance over to Ao'nung as your sister slowly walks back to our hut. He was standing beside your father and mother. His ears pressed firmly against his head, his tail waving anxiously, and his head low.
Ronal has been telling Ao'nung how mad she was with him since Jake and his family told Tonowari about what their son has done. You couldn't hear what Ronal was telling Ao'nung, but based on her angry face and his displeased one, you could only imagine.
Your eyes then glance over to the Sully's. Neytiri was pacing back and forth. Jake was comforting his mate, he was quietly telling her something.
You scan over Kiri. She was sitting with her knees to her chest, playing with her top anxiously.
Neteyam was sitting beside her, a hand on her shoulder.
You bit the inside of your cheek.
How could Ao'nung do such a thing?
Suddenly, you hear a loud horn. The Metkayina around you started making their way closer to the water.
You looked over at Ronal and Tonowari who exchanged looks and started walking towards the edge of the nets. Ao'nung was dragged behind them. You joined them.
You hear different Na'vi gasping and talking about how the missing boy was found and you let out a breath of relief as you see Lo'ak with your own eyes.
As Lo'ak gets off the skimwing, he nods his head to the male Na'vi who helped him get to safety. He looks up and sees Ao'nung. You can feel the shift in energy and he frowns and starts walking towards Ao.
