The next day in the morning, Peter woke up to see the room in disastrous condition. The sun was shining into part of it, and yet all the rest was quite dark and shady.
"Woah! I don't recall the room being this messy." exclaimed Peter. He got up, took a bath, got dressed and went out of the room to see the state of the garden.
The beans his mother had thrown out of the window the night before had sprung up into a big beanstalk which went up and up and up till it reached the sky.
"Looks like the Gypsy woman was telling the truth after all." said Peter and he went back to the attic.
The beanstalk grew up quite close past Peter's window, so all he had to do was to open it and give jump onto the beanstalk which ran up just like a big ladder.
Peter climbed the beanstalk as much as he could until at last, he reached the sky.
