-TIME SKIP TO SCHOOL-
I sit down in my seat groggily as my best friend Brett being to talk to me
"Hey y/n what's up,you seem tired"
"Yeah I stayed up all right watching (favorite show)"
You laugh awkwardly not exactly knowing what else to add. After a few seconds of silence Brett decides to break the awkward tension
"Well maybe sometime we could hangout at your place and watch it together ive heard really good things about that show"
You look at him "yeah it's not that good of show and why would you want to stay at my house?" You ask bluntly
Brett looks at you at first with confusion then sadness "Uh- well then could we hangout after school?" He asked sheepishly
"Sure!" You returned with a bit of excitement in your voice

As you walk out of the school you here footsteps approaching you quickly, you turn your head to see Brett booking it towards you you yelp slightly thinking he would run into you but he stops right beside you, you sigh in relief
He flashes a big smile at you as he opens his mouth to speak
"Hey are you ready for our dat- ER UM I mean hang out sesh later"

He looks as though he's sweating bullets Your smile quickly returns to your face

You continue your walk in silence

"Hey so I'll meet at the park I'll text you the details when your ready ok?" He rubs the back of his neck
