Elliana

*Beep, Beep*

I groan at the sound of my alarm clock, alerting me that it's time to wake up for school. I quickly sit up and turn it off before registering that there's a warm arm around me. I look to see Embry and my eyes widen. I shake him awake and he tiredly tries to fight me, but I win.
"What?" He groans and I shush him.
"You aren't supposed to be here." I whisper and his eyes widen in realization.
"Mom's going to kill me." He whispers, climbing out of bed and putting his shoes on. "I gotta run home and get ready, Sam says we have to go to school." He rolls his eyes.
"You do, Em. School is important." I tell him and he sighs.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll text you later, Elle," he kisses my lips and then says, "I love you."
"And I love you." I smile, kissing him once more before he jumps out my window. I climb out of bed and grab my robe for after my shower and begin the process of getting ready for school.

I finish making a stack of eight pancakes, ten eggs, and six strips of bacon when I see dad come into the kitchen.
"When I went to bed, Embry was still here." He says, making his plate and causing me to tense.
"Yeah, we accidentally fell asleep. He left this morning." I tell him the truth as that is all that happened. I grab my plate and begin to place food on it when he says,
"I just want you to be safe."
"Dad," I chuckle, "we didn't sleep together, we just slept. Promise." I tell him and he nods his head.
"But you need to remember that-"
"Dad," I say, interrupting his embarrassing speech, "I'm a virgin."
"Ahhh! Okay!" He exclaims and I laugh at his reaction to the word. He's the one that brought this up. Just then Bella walks in and I truly want to throw up at the thought of her with a dead dude. Like I get it, the Cullens aren't bad looking, but he's dead. Like d-e-a-d, dead.

I quickly ate my food before going upstairs to brush my teeth, Bella right behind me.
"Ellie?"
"What?" I ask.
"Do you know? Like about..."
"That you were with a dead guy, yeah. Now leave me alone." I say, closing the bathroom door before she can say anything else.

"So, we need the deets." Mia sings, sitting down at the lunch table as I roll my eyes.
"About?" I ask and Trix shoves me.
"Your boo. My dad saw a boy leaving your house this morning." She says and my eyes widen.
"People can't know about that." I quickly tell her, looking around to make sure no one heard.
"Girl! I was joking! Now we really need the deets!" She whisper shouts at me and they are both beaming waiting for me to talk.
"Really nothing happened...we'll, nothing like that happened. We talked, kissed, said 'I love you', kissed some more, talked more, and then fell asleep." I rush out before shoving a carrot in my mouth as their jaws drop.
"You said the 'L' word?" Mia asks.
"How old are you?" I joke and she rolls her eyes.
"Girl, hush!" Trix says, "So this is like serious?"
"Yeah, it is." I smile, fondly at the thought of the chocolate brown eyed boy.
"You're blushing!" Mia exclaims and other students look at us as she apologizes.
"So, when?" Trix asks, making my brows furrow in confuse-meant.
"When what?" I ask her.
"When do we get to meet him?"
"You two have, he was like one of my best guy friends."
"But we didn't really pay attention. We have to meet him as your boyfriend." Mia says and i roll my eyes at their stupidity.
"Fine, I'll ask him when he's free." I say and they squeal in excitement.
