BACKGROUND: he grew up in a halfblood house in the middle of nowhere in the countryside of england. it was a magic filled house so it was no surprise that he was accepted to hogwarts at the age of eleven years old. he was so excited to go, and his family used whatever little money that they had to get his school supplies. for his pet, he got a small cat named bianca, and she was his best friend until she passed away in his third year. he didn't get another pet after her until his fifth year, a brown barn owl named atticus. when he entered his third year, he met oliver wood, and they became the best of friends after oliver introduced him to quidditch. but henry's love for quidditch quickly faded after he met cedric diggory, an older boy who was in hufflepuff house. he eventually quit the quidditch team to spend more time with cedric, much to oliver's dismay, since henry was a great asset to the team.

cedric diggory ( cedric and henry had an immediate connection from the day they met. it was like a switch flipped in both of them, and it was almost like they needed to be around with one another or else they would both die. cedric knows that henry quit the gryfindor quidditch team because of him, and he feels a bit bad, but he likes the time he can spend with henry. )
