personality: mason is an extremely reckless person, and he makes impulsive decisions due to his lack of judgement. he is also a very broken person, due to the fact both his parents are dead, and he's a recovering addict at only sixteen years old. he's rather brilliant, but doesn't use his true potential and dumbs himself down to everyones level, and that caused him to fail his freshman year and get held back. he should be a junior, but he's not, his a sophomore.
backstory: his mother was a housekeeper in the drexel house in texas, who died during childbirth. his father, kenny drexel, cheated on his ex wife with the housekeeper, causing their divorce. mason is his youngest, and after the marriage of kenny and georgia, georgia adopted him. and after kenny died, georgia took custody of the young recovering addict, treating him like her son. mason is a recovering addict, who began ro get into pills and alcohol at the ripe age of eleven years old, and he let them ruin his life until an unfortunate accidental overdose that he came back from when he was fifteen. thats when he began his recovery. its hard to find a meeting in perfect wellsbury.
