a coworker of mine
who has the life i always dreamed of
just announced that she was
pregnant for her first baby
with her husband
she looked beautiful in the shot
as they kissed lovingly
and everyone else i know
is having the same milestones
and i truly want to just
disappear off this earth
because every time life gets close
to the life i always wanted
it goes up in flames
and burns and
burns and burns
so i look at janann's post
with the fucking baby and everything
and send her congratulations
while im burning with bitterness
waiting at the mall
to see if my boy
is going to stick around
any longer
