"Did you do anything nice during the holidays Saoirse?" Kevin asked as she leaned against the school gates, Liz stood next to her.
"Yeah me and Orla went over to Ireland to stay with my Mammy for two weeks. It was lovely, all except for the weather."
"Lee took the kids for two weeks, so I spent it with the Bransons on Necker Island. Sunbathing topless and sucking off billionaires."
"Really?"
Liz stared at Kevin in disbelief for a second. "Of course not Kevin!"
"Good thing Saoirse might have got jealous." Julia smirked as Saoirse flipped her off.
"I had to work the whole time." Julia sighed. "The kids went into seven different sports clubs, which they absolutely hated! But, on a positive, they're now county level at badminton."
"I enjoyed every minute of the hols. I took the kids camping in Dorset. Magical! Great toilet block, and sinks with taps, so more glamping, really. Jill joined us on the Saturday, for lunch." Kevin rambled as a loud laugh behind them interrupted his ramble.
"Who is that?"
"Oh that's Meg." Amanda turned up out of nowhere. "Jade's Mum. She's actually got two other kids of her own, and two stepchildren, but they're very close. She's a real high-flyer. I believe she did a talk at Davos last year."
"Oh who's her favourite spice girl?" Liz asked sarcastically. Anne then came over as everyone greeted her. "Anne you look great."
"Aw thank you. I feel like over the holidays I kind of filled out a bit, so..."
"No you look great!"
"Getting friendly with the sister in law." Julia smirked once again as Liz leaned forward punching her in the arm. "OW!"
"Children! Children!" Saoirse rolled her eyes at both of them
"Aw it's all Sophie's Choice, isn't it." Amanda smiles at Anne. "When we get older? face or arse." She chuckled.
"You do realize you're saying these things out loud right?" Liz furrowed her eyes.
"Liz leave it." Liz raised her hands in surrender at Saoirse as she patted her on the back. "She's not worth it." She whispered to her.
"Sorry to hear about Johnny, Amanda." Kevin butted in. "You were such a dynamic, attractive couple. if there's anything we can do to help..."
