She Plays Your Guitar (Part 2) (Requested)

Walking up to your dressing room, you knock on the door softly.

You hear a faint "come in" and make your way inside before closing the door behind you.

"Hey, baby. How are you feeling?" You ask, walking up to Jenna, who's looking at herself in the mirror with a worried expression.

"Terrified", she chuckles nervously.

You move to wrap your arms around her, kissing her shoulder. "If you don't want to do this, I'll understand, my love. I'll just start my setlist as normal."

She shakes her head, turning around in your arms and smiling at your lips. "I'm definitely nervous, but no. I want to show off my guitar skills. I had the best teacher for it, after all."

You shrug, kissing her cheek. "What can I say, baby? You're lucky enough to date a prodigy."

She laughs, kissing you softly.

"There's that smile I love. Now if you're ready, we have an opening performance."

Jenna pecks your lips once more and smiles. "Let's do it."

Time skip

You feel your heart pounding as you run out on stage, greeted by thousands of screaming fans.

You grin before grabbing your mic from the stand.

"NYC, how are we feeling tonight?" You ask, waving at fans as you walk to the front of the stage.

A piano is set up for you, and you sit, looking out at the crowd again before speaking.

"So before I go through my setlist for tonight, I wanted to give you a special performance. This is a song I love, and I hope my version does it justice. This is 'If the world was ending' by JP Saxe and Julia Michaels"

You look down at the piano as you begin playing the song's opening melody and start singing.

I was distracted
And in traffic
I didn't feel it
When the earthquake happened
But it really got me thinkin'
Were you out drinkin'?
Were you in the living room
Chillin' watchin' television?
It's been a year now
Think I've figured out how
How to let you go and let communication die out

Once you get to the chorus, you stand up, grabbing your guitar from the side as you reach the middle of the stage.

As you finish the chorus, Jenna walks out on stage and approaches you with her guitar.

The crowd goes wild at the unexpected duet, but Jenna's eyes are on you as she begins singing the second verse.

You watch her with a smile as she effortlessly gets through her part. Despite that being something she was afraid of, she didn't mess up her guitar playing once.

You sing the chorus together, and although the song is quite sad, the two of you have huge smiles as you continue performing.

Once the song finishes, you pull her into a hug, whispering into her ear about how amazing she did.

"Guys, give it up for my girlfriend, Jenna Ortega!! We were both preparing hard to perform for you guys, so I hope you enjoyed the surprise."

Jenna thanks the audience and quickly kisses you before heading off stage.

You keep the grin throughout your performance, feeling so proud that the world could finally hear your incredibly talented girlfriend sing.
