Kayleen held the note in her shaky hands and clutched the pendant in her pocket. She has never stepped foot onto the nobleman's territory and she feared being struck down before she could even show the guards the pendant. When she made the deal with Alai, she thought she would be able to handle the task but now she questions her resolve.

"This might sound weird but I need you to do me a favor," Alai asks to which Kayleen smiles up at her and nods.
"You need passage into nobleman's territory to see Raphael, right?" Alai asks and Kayleen nods again in confirmation.
"If I give you a token of status to get into that territory, would you be willing to venture further and share a message to the commander?" At the question, Kayleen's eyes go big and she instinctually backs away from Alai as if the proximity to her and such words could have her killed.
"You expect me to sneak into the commander's house. That's punishable by death." Kayleen says shaking her head no. Appalled that she would ask such a thing. Alai walks closer to her in fear that she might run off.
"No no no. The commander has a meeting with the king today where they will venture outside of the kingdom. Instead of commuting all the way back to his home, he stays at a secluded inn on nobleman's land." Alai rushes out.
