its been a week since the party and its pretty much safe to say that everyone became close with each other and now consider one another as friends.
you were all in the cafe just hanging out trying to get to know each other more until sav brings up the question.
"joao, i have a question for you." she says looking at him, he nods giving her a sign to continue, "i thought you were a player? like a playboy? how come you cared when she cheated on you? i mean this in a none offensive way at all and you dont have to answer it; im just genuinely curious.." she says shaking her head from side to side.
"no, dont worry its not offensive at all. i get where youre coming from especially knowing what people say about me. hmm, lets see...my answer would have to be: no im not a player, just a big misunderstanding." he says chuckling.
"wait, how?" she asks confused.
"it basically just started off as me going on neys dates and blind dates because i really didnt have much to do except for practice. ney called me out on that and decided to set me up with some people and most of those people he set me up with basically never worked out except for mari, who i thought was different," he pauses for a bit then continues on, "multiple of them took pictures and forced me to hang out with them as an apology for rejecting them and i really couldnt say no since id feel bad...so thats why i was seen with multiple different girls." he explains.
"dang dude you really gotta assert your inner alpha." you say patting his shoulder.
"inner what?" he asks confusingly.
"inner alpha." you look at him dead in the eye with seriousness written all over your face.
"shes telling you to stop being a push over, joao." diego explains.
"oh wow...nah. thats just foul." jude says laughing.
everyone eventually broke out in laughters and started joking around talking about school and dumb stuff.

you and sav got invited over for their practice so now you were on the field terrified for your life as you heard what neymar said to you.
"you want me to what?" you looked at him baffled by the suggestion.
"i want you to goalkeep! i feel like it would be fun!" neymar says with an innocent looking smile.
"what if i die?" you try to counter him.
"but you wont...youll probably just be knocked out?" he says nonchalantly.
"be so for real." you look at him and you guys basically have a staring contest until you finally gave in, "you know what? fine. i swear if i get hit in the face, im done and dead." you say looking at neymar who was happily smiling.
"y/n honey i believe in you babe!!" sav cheers you on from the side, "let me go get the med kit while youre at this!" she runs off towards the building to get the med kit from the nurses room.
"oh hell nah i might actually die." you say to yourself.
"we will go easy on you so you wont hurt yourself." jude says trying to reassure you as you put on the gloves.
"even if you guys go easy on me, id still find a way to hurt myself." you chuckle in despair.

you got in position and sav was sitting on the side near you guys, but not too close to where she could get hit, with a med kit.
"YOU READY SOLDIER?" diego asks.
"DO YOU WANT ME TO BE HONEST?" you respond back.
"NO NOT REALLY. OKAY IM GONNA KICK." he yells out and you got yourself ready.
he kicks the ball to the left and you being uncoordinated and not knowing directions you dived to what you thought was the right but it was actually the left leaving you blocking the ball completely and hitting your head on the goal post.
"DANG BABE THAT MADE A REALLY LOUD NOISE YOU LITTLE MEGAMIND." sav yells out dying at the scene in front of her.
everyone was laughing at the sound your head made when it hit it and the megamind comment sav made. (u tot u 8 sav? in front of my men 🙄)
"I TOLD YOU ID FIND A WAY TO HURT MYSELF, JUDE!" you yell at him.
they laughed even harder for some reason (like it wasnt even funny fr 😒) and you see neymar, jude, and gavi on the floor dying while diego and joao were trying to hold each other up from laughing too hard.
"hey, i mean you kept the ball out of the goal." neymar says wheezing his buns off.
"im retiring as goalkeeper." you say throwing your gloves down dramatically.
"please dont retire...not yet at least. some of us havent kicked yet." joao says smiling.
"okay fine losers, if youre that desperate i guess." you roll your eyes as you shrug your shoulders.

it was after practice and it turned out you were actually a decent goalkeeper. you blocked 4/10 goals, with your head of course. an ice pack was needed after that last block.
"HAHSHDHA YOUR HEAD Y/N IT LOOKS 10X BIGGER!" sav says laughing her head off.
"ITS NOT THAT FUNNY YOU WHORE." you slap her thigh with your ice pack, "ITS NOT MY FAULT JOAO AIMED AT MY HEAD." you retort.
"NO I DIDNT? YOU LITERALLY FOLLOWED THE BALL WITH YOUR HEAD." joao counters.
"ITS NOT MY FAULT I SUCK." you started sulking and everyone noticed it making them laugh more.
"okay..ill be nice. im sorry, y/n. forgive me?" he walks towards you and grabs the ice pack you were holding your head and holds it for you instead.
"fine....but youre holding the ice pack until my head feels better." you say.
"anything for you until you get better." he says patting your head with his other hand.
you felt your stomach churn and the butterflies were definitely flying. you didnt know if it was the lower butterflies or the higher butterflies.
