you were at school early in the morning preparing for the last touches of the senior prank that your class planned out.
it was nothing too extreme or mean. mostly funny and messy, but leaning more to the nice side. there were balloons on the floors, foil fringes everywhere, confetti scattered, a blow up house in the gymnasium, ball pit, and some more fun things.
you guys wanted to have fun on your last of school and make the most of it before everyone separates.
"im still upset gavi, diego, and phil arent here." ney says making you hug him.
"its okay, were all hanging out after this." you pat his head, "have you seen sav and joao?" you ask.
"i think sav is preparing the bubble machine outside and joao is probably outside as well helping out with the other fun house." he answers making you hum.
"you wanna go outside then since were practically done?" you suggest as he nods his head in agreement.
"Y/NNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!" you hear sav yell running up to you.
"SAAAAVVVV!!!" you run up to her and you both hugged each other, "ew youre wet." you say letting go of the hug.
"oh right i forgot. ive been working on the bubble machine with yves and we literally kept on messing up and spilling the bubble solution on us. not to mention the fact that most of the people outside right now are having a water fight since its hot." she explains making you laugh.
out of nowhere you get hit by a water balloon making you look around to see ney and joao wielding water balloons.
"SAV RUNNNN!!" you say grabbing her arm as they both started throwing the balloons at you guys.
you ran towards the table full of water guns for you and sav to grab. you grabbed one and handed one to sav as soon as you arrived there.
multiple students noticed what was happening so they ended up joining as well.
"y/n, duck!!" one of your classmates yells out making you drop to the ground in defense.
"that literally wouldve made me drop dead. thanks." you thank her after getting up trying to look for the person that threw that.
you make eye contact with ney who was laughing at you.
you grab one of the water balloons in the basket you guys had and threw one at him making him stop laughing since it hit him in the nuts.
"DANG..." jude yells out trying to make neys pain less worse than what it was, "THAT WAS A COLD BLOW Y/N." jude continues making you laugh.
"IM SORRY I DONT KNOW HOW TO AIM..." you yell back across the area.
this water fight continued on until 3rd hour. everyone was tired and soaked.
"that was so much fun!" sav exclaims making you nod your head in agreement.
you all were sitting down in a circle on a blanket eating some fresh watermelons.
"here, y/n." jude says putting a towel around you.
"thanks!" you say smiling at him.
"no problem." he smiles back warmly.
when you thanked jude, sav noticed how jude looks at you.
"does he...like her?" sav whispers to ney.
"sort of? maybe? not really sure. he did like her back then though, but he denied it as him wanting to be friends with her." ney whispers back trying to not get caught, "but also, he knows deep down that she would choose you know who over him any day...it pains me since im both of their friend." he continues taking a sip of his soda.
"love is so complicated." sav says as she sighs as ney hums in agreement.
"what are you two whispering about over there?" you say giving them the "🤨" look.
"about how were never gonna go back to this feeling." ney says making you throw a water balloon at him.
"dont say that. youre gonna make me cry again bro, i literally just stopped not too long ago." you say trying to keep your tears in.

it was nearing your time to leave the school. it made you sad. you bid your farewells to your favorite teachers making them cry as well.
by the time everyone gathered around to say goodbye to each other, everyone was a mess. especially ney and you.
"you guys seriously stop crying." ney says as he sobs into your arms.
"nah fr were acting like were going into war, were literally hanging out after this." you say sobbing with him hugging him tighter.
"were never gonna talk to each other in the hallways anymore..." sav says making her, you, and ney cry more.
"come here sav..." you say trying your best to reach out to her.
"you guys are so emotional, imagine." joao teases making the three of you look at him.
"says the one that cried first." ney says making him take back his smug look, "exactly. dont play."
jude was silent as he was trying his best to not cry. it hurt him more especially knowing that he will barely see her anymore or even be there for her anymore.
"come on guys, they may be waiting for us already." jude says before calming himself. (jude pookie im always here hmu bbg😕🫶)
you all arrived at the cafe you guys were supposed to meet at looking like a complete mess from crying so much. you look at the table the guys were at and they were no different. they definitely cried as well.
you all sat down and tried to clam yourselves down.
"okay..phew. whens your schools graduation?" you ask one of them after wiping your tears again. (miss girl is fr going through it shes losing all her pookies 😭)
"its on the 11th. what about yours?" diego says chuckling at the fact that you looked like a mess.
"oh! ours is on the 13th." you reply with a glare.
"nice that it doesnt overlap. that means we can go to each others graduation?" phil suggests as everyone agrees.
the day went on and everyone had a nice talk with each other: talking about future plans, colleges, and universities. you never thought youd make it this far in life, but youre glad that you did. if you didnt, you would have never met all these nice friends that you have that care for you.
"y/n are you crying again?" sav taunts.
"shut up, no i am not." you smack her shoulder as she runs away leaving you with joao.
"here.." joao says as he gives you a handkerchief.
"oh. thank you." you say taking the handkerchief wiping your tears with it, "sorry, now were far behind them."
"y/n." he says making you look at him, "ive been meaning to tell you this...i like—"
"i like?" you hum in confusion.
"i like your outfit today. i think it suits you very much." he says with a tight smile.
"oh? really? thanks. i thought it was pretty tacky since i had limited time to change and pick out my clothes...thanks for thinking that.." you blush giving him a warm smile as he smiles back for real this time.
you both caught up to the group and had a nice evening walk around the park.
