it's been a while since you graduated, 5 years to be exact. you're still learning about art and teaching people about art as well, as a side job of course.
every now and then when you check your tiktok, you see them in an edit. the "them" that you're talking about are: jude, gavi, diego, ney, phil, and joao. they've hit it off as professional football players, but due to them hitting it off; everyone eventually drifted.
looking back at those old memories makes you tear up a bit. it's still so baffling how much everything changes after graduation. how promises aren't kept and how people change so quickly.
"ms. y/n? how can i make my cat look cuter and better?" a little girl asks making you snap out of your thoughts.
"maybe add cat ears, ella. it'll look way better! just do two triangular shapes...just like..this!" you say as you show her an example.
you were currently teaching a class right now, an art class for kids. you always go to this one school that your aunt has connections with, so when she heard they were looking for an art teacher she knew who to call. the art class was only available on tuesdays and thursdays, which was perfect for you.
"oooo!! that already looks so much cuter. thank you ms. y/n!!" she smiles at you as she walks off back to her desk.
you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket. you checked to see who it was and it was your best friend, sav. the only one that you stayed in contact with and plus now you two live together.

to a football game. i heard there was one like near us so i ended up buying tickets for us to go before they sold out.

it was time to go and you see sav by the entrance waiting for you.
"i'm so excited, it's been so long since we've gone to a football game." you say to her as you both walk out of the building.
"i know right. those games were always so exciting and entertaining for what." you both laugh looking back at the memories, "are you okay now by the way?" she asks quietly as you nod your head.
"of course i am...and of course it still hurts a little but i'm okay. how about you? you good?" you ask her.
"yeah i'm good now. i knew it was gonna end somehow and thank goodness it was a mutual thing, plus i think i already have somebody i like in my department." she smiles warmly.
"WAIT TELL ME RIGHT NOW." you yell out in excitement.
during the car drive you both squealed like teenage girls who talked about their first love and it warmed your heart. you were glad that sav stayed with you throughout all these years, you could already see the both of you rooming in a retirement home.

you guys arrived at your apartment and picked an outfit that would be perfect for the match.
"can i borrow your shorts? i don't know where mine went." sav asks as you put on your top.
"of course, go ahead. can i borrow your jacket then?" you ask her as she nods putting on your shorts that matched her outfit.
"sort of getting flashbacks right now." she says while brushing her hair.
"me too. i feel like a teenager again and it's kinda freaking me out a little." you both laugh and fixed yourselves up just a little bit more until you both had to leave.
"let's gooooo!!!" sav exclaims as you smiled at her.
little did both of you know that you'll see familiar faces during the match.
