"they literally ADORE dora. im not named diego for no reason. come on now..PLEASE." he begs putting his hands together.
"fine omg youre so annoying." you say jokingly while laughing at how hes acting.
"OMG THANK YOU I LOVE YOU, BUT I LOVE YOUR COUSINS MORE THOUGH. THEYRE JUST SO TINY AND ADORABLE." he says making you give him a warmhearted smile.
"i love you too, but if i come to know that they like you more...i might have to end your life right then and there." you say glaring at him as he winks at you.
"no promises!" he says pointing finger guns at you, "plus, arent you coming along?" he asks as you nod your head.
"youre a tough competitor i have the right to be scared. they literally have a diego plushy that they think is you." you admit making him laugh.
you and diego were in your car after hearing about you babysitting your cousins in the group chat. he basically wanted to tag along because he adores your little cousins.
when they all first met it was after their football practice. your aunt decided to drop by to pass over the kids to you since you agreed to babysit them. ever since diego saw them with a diego, dora, and boots plushy, he begged you to babysit them with him and its been like this ever since then.
"you buckled up?" you ask.
"of course i am." he says giving you a thumbs up.
you arrived at your aunts place and rang the doorbell.
"y/n! diego! thank goodness you both are here." your aunt says.
"yep! are we late?" you ask.
"no, you guys are right on time actually. i left the schedule and notes on what to do for the newborn baby." she says which made you turn to look at diego.
"NEWBORN!? BABY!?!?!?" he says gasping in surprise with both hands on his face, "YOU DIDNT TELL ME ABOUT THIS." he continues.
"yeah, it was supposed to be a surprise for you." you admit smiling cheekily.
"and you were saying i shouldnt go ugh." he says bitterly jokingly rolling his eyes.
"im sorry ill make it up to you?" you say smiling at him.
"you already made it up to me after letting me see this cute being." he says playing with the babys hand.
"oh sorry, i need to go now! here..." she says giving the baby to diego to which she guided him on how to hold the baby before she rushed towards her car.
"Y/N THIS IS TOO PRECIOUS!!!" he says going inside with the baby in his hold.
"this is such an adorable sight omg." you say to yourself secretly taking your phone out recording some videos and snapping some photos of diego with the baby.

"Y/N HELP HES HES HES PUKING." he says distressed.
"OKAY UHM TOWEL, WHERE!?" you ask him panicking seeing the puke all over his shoulders.
"THERE!!!" he points at the couch. you ran towards it and grabbed it.
"uhmm...okay.." you say wiping the puke on his back and wiping the remainder puke on the babys face, "let me go get you an extra shirt." you go upstairs and went through your room that was here in her house since you basically have her as a second mother.
you came back down to see the baby in the crib and diego cleaning his shirt.
"here i got you a clean one. you might wanna change into this." you say throwing the shirt at hima s he catches it.
"ooo thanks." he says before taking off his shirt LITERALLY flashing you in the process.
"I WAS ABOUT TO SAY GO TO THE BATHROOM TO CHANGE BUT THAT WORKS TOO IG???" you say confused and flustered. (y/n bout to go on her maggot activities)

after that stressful event; the kids ended up falling asleep with diego while watching dora the explorer. diegos phone ended up dying midway and he wanted to take more photos so he used yours instead before falling asleep.
you checked your cameral roll to find all the photos he took. you also checked your messages to see the recent message being sent to "doras cousin 😭", you gasp fully knowing that diego did this.
"what the hell diego, what if i get cancelled." you say lightly kicking him awake.
"you wont, ill take full responsibility!" he says smiling drowsily before going back to sleep.
you rolled your eyes and opened your camera app to snap another photo of him cuddling with the kids.
