you and sav arrived at the stadium safely and were now settled down in your seats.
"GIRL I'M SO EXCITED!!" sav says happily.
"ME TOO!!!!" you held hands with her as you both jumped up and down, "maybe i'll find the love of my life here..."
"girl i believe in you. i'll be on the lookout for hot men near us." sav says as you hugged her.
"thanks girlfriend, you're a real one." you let go of the hug to grab your phone, "selfie timeeee."
you and sav were taking photos until someone bumped into you.
"oh i'm so sor–" they say until you turned around to look at them, "i'm sorry."
"you're good, don't worry!" you reassure him.
"i got distracted by the big screen, sorry again." he apologizes as you smiled at him.
"seriously, don't even worry about it. it's not like you pushed me off." you chuckle as he slowly smiled.
"yeah, i guess you're right." he says.
"i'm y/n by the way." you held out your hand for a handshake. (oouhhh miss girl is already jumping for it 🐺😖)
"and i'm trent!" he takes your hand and you both shook hands, "i should probably go back to my mate before he thinks i'm lost, bye." he walks off as you both waved goodbye to each other. (TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLDDDD 😻😻😻😻 also trents a pro player too in this story)
"girl...that man was FINE. you better find him again later." sav says as she had her hand covering her mouth.
"THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING. I CAN'T BELIEVE I STAYED COMPOSED." you melt down to your chair as you sat down.
"your rizz never went away." sav says as you laugh.
"some things never change and that's one of them." you gave her a smug look as she pushes your face away making her laugh.

the players walked out into the field and you and sav looked at each other baffled.
"am i imagining things right now...or does he look exactly like gavi..." you say slowly.
"uhm...maybe were both hallucinating..." sav says completely shocked at the display that was on the big screen.
when the next player showed up on the big screen, it suddenly felt like time stopped at the moment and memories just started flooding.

"hi babe, did you arrive at your apartment without getting lost?" joao chuckles over the phone.
"ha..ha. very funny." you say un-enthusiastically, "and for your in formation i arrived safely. no complications whatsoever." you say as you were unpacking your stuff.
"wowww i'm so proud of you. i only mentioned you getting lost because last time we went out for walking you got us lost." he says and you can see him smiling.
"okay to be fair, it was the stupid maps fault." you try to defend yourself.
"yeah, but who was holding the "stupid" map wrong?" he asks raising his brows.
you briefly look at him and you roll your eyes.
"fine, it was me, the stupid guide." you finally admit and he bursts out laughing making you smile, "whatever..laugh all you want, but you didn't even tell me i was holding it wrong until we knew we were lost."
"first of all i trusted you with my whole life when you looked that confident and second, you didn't even let me touch or look at the map once until we realized. so.....it's your fault." he smugly smiles at you making you roll your eyes twice.
"whateverrr." you sigh in defeat.
"you're so cute." he says making you smile.
"always love when my friends compliment me." you smile.
"i will literally fly there right now." he says.
"but you can't, so..." you smile in victory as he rolls his eyes.

"y/n!!" sav says snapping her fingers in front of your face.
you snap out of it and you turn to look at her with tears in your eyes.
"y/n...you still like him a lot, don't you?" sav wipes your tears as you thought about it.
"i guess so...maybe i'm just like this because he left me, or left what we had, without telling me a reason." you say wiping your tears with the tissues sav gave you, "how about you?"
"surprisingly i thought i'd cry, like you, but i guess i really am over him. it was just startling to see him right in front of us, full blast and everything." she says as she's giving you more tissues.
"girl i probably look mentally deranged right now with mascara down my face." you say as she nods her head and laughs.
"you kinda look psychotic. it's a look to be honest." she shrugs her shoulders, "you should go fix up. the mascara's getting everywhere honey."
"okay, i'll be back." you say.
you guys were sitting at the lower part so it was near the field. you knew that some people were staring at you as you stood up, but what you didn't know was, it was somebody on the field and somebody in the same row as you.
