"your date with joao!" she says mischievously smiling.
"it was more like friends hanging out, but he did ask me on a date." you say smiling at her shocked face.
"WHAT TELL ME DETAILS NOW." she yells out grabbing your shoulders.
"oh my goodness, y/n, BABE YOUVE GROWN UP SO MUCH." she says dramatically sniffling, "i missed like a whole plot."
"id say tell me more about gavi and you, but im pretty sure you already told me everything without missing a single detail." you say chuckling as she laughs.
"of course, my first and number one bae has to know everything." she hugs you as you hug her back patting her head.
"i cant wait to flex that to gavi." you say squeezing her cheeks.
"of course, you get the free pass from me." she says laughing.
you and sav were at a cafe since its been a while and you guys needed to catch up on some stuff.
you hear the doors bells meaning that another customer just walked in. you look up to meet eye contact with phil. all he does was smile and wave at you until he went up to order.
"who was that?" sav asks.
"oh, hmmm. yknow that dude from the mall and party?" you say.
"which one?" she asks again.
"the one that said that his friends need to be put in place." you answer.
"OH THAT WAS HIM?" she says surprised, "we should make friends with him. i feel bad he has to hang out with those people."
"yeah that was my plan because i feel bad as well. he seemed like a nice guy." you agree with her.
you see him look for a table and you waved him over to come.
"hey!" sav greets.
"hello!" phil greets back.
"i didnt want you to struggle to look for a table. its busy today." you say smiling.
"yeah i could tell as soon as i walked in. its usually not this busy, but i guess spring breaks the reason?" he says chuckling making you chuckle with him.
"we were wondering if you liked your friend group..." sav asked carefully.
"no, definitely no. i just hang with them because pedri was my childhood friend, but hes kinda changed now. im sorry about his actions so far, hes so messed up." he looks at you giving you a apologetic smile, to which you smile back waving it off, "ive been distant with them ever since the party and stuff."
"ah...i see." sav says.
"have you been good?" you asked him.
"yes, ive been feeling pretty peaceful. i dont have to do anything they demand." he says leaning back.
"well if youre feeling lonely and bored you could always hang with us!" you say happily.
"oh really? you guys wouldnt mind?" he says shocked.
"yeah me and the others talked about it after the party and it seemed like jude missed you." you say chuckling.
"of course he does, he wouldve failed grade school if i wasnt there and he wouldve been very bored." he laughs.
"were planning on going to this fair near us. would you want to come along? it will be fun." you ask him.
"yeah of course. i was planning on going there with the other two but all they would do is make out and take pictures, id rather have fun." he says laughing.
"YAY ONE MORE RECRUITED MEMBER TO THE Y/N X JOAO SHIP CLUB!" sav cheers making you slap her shoulder.
"y/n x joao ship club?" he asked confused.
"you should have never as—" you say before you get cut off by sav.
"so its basically a group chat with the whole friend group in it and its basically a club where we think joao and y/n should be together." she explains, "not all of us thinks that though." she says the last part to herself.
"i thought you and joao were already dating?" he asks looking at you.
"no, no, no, that was just an act so mari wouldnt be all over him. were just good friends." you answer him.
"good friends that go on dates." sav woos making you slap her shoulder.
"whatever loser." you say rolling your eyes.
"well do you like him and does he like you back..?" he asked carefully.
"...yeah, i do like him. im not sure if he likes me." you answer truthfully, "he asked me on a date, but what if hes just doing that to like keep the act since mari still thinks were dating."
"ive had many conversations with joao before due to football games, i dont think hes like that." he comforts you.
"yeah youre right, im just scared of rejection." you say sighing.
"i mean you wont know until you try right?" sav says hugging you.
"right." you respond back hugging her.
"oh right! sorry girls i need to leave, my teams training today." he says looking at his phone, "i enjoyed speaking with you guys. please have jude personally text me about the fair." he laughs walking away as you both waved back chuckling at the request.
"i liked the atmosphere around him." sav says as you nod your head completely getting her.
"hes like so thoughtful, peaceful, and careful. not like the other two he hangs with." you say sipping your coffee.
"maybe hes been the one fixing up the mess they cause." she says as you hum in agreement.
"now we just gotta announce in the gc we have a new addition to the group." you say getting your phone out.
"Y/N!!" sav yells out.
"WHAT?" you asked concern.
"our anonymous instagram posted!!" she happily cheers.
"what does it say?" you ask as she brings her phone near for you to see.
