"OMG. OMG. OMG." you hear across the room as the person runs towards your table, "Y/N!?! SAV!?!?"
"NEY????" you both yell back in unison as he finally makes it to your table and hugged the both of you.
"oh my gosh..i can't believe it. you guys were here all along??" he asks as he pulled up a chair next to you guys.
"i mean, we haven't really been living here long. we moved in here together a year ago." you say as his eyes widen.
"ohhh...i went back to fairview for vacation thinking i could find you guys to tell you that i changed my number, but there were no signs," he laughs, "i also couldn't tell the other guys because our clubs have this rivalry thing. not a lot of our fans would like seeing us together." he adds on.
"makes total sense. it's a pretty rough world out there with the competition and all." you smile at him.
"but anyways give me your phones." he snaps his fingers at the both of you.
"gosh your sass is still there." sav says making you laugh.
"it'll never leave me that's for sure." he proudly smiles as you both handed him your phones.
you both watched as ney typed in something kn your phones, most likely his number.
"and there! now you guys have my new number. please give them to everyone else, most players so far are getting new phone numbers to make them focus on their training, no distractions whatsoever." he explains as you nod your head.
"wow that sounds a little miserable." you blurt out making sav and ney laugh.
"yeah it sort of is, but it did help a lot of people," he says before gasping remembering something he was going to ask you two, "do you guys not use your insta anymore?"
"nah not really. i sort off low key forgot my password to the account and i never bothered to create a new password." you answer him.
"i deleted mine and created a new private one," sav answers, "well to be exact, not really delete. i just abandoned the account."
"no fricking wonder if couldn't get a hold of you guys. i dmed your insta accounts like two years ago saying that i changed my number, but i never got a response back." he explains making you and sav laugh.
"yeah, no, sorry. i really didn't need to use insta that much anymore after high school, plus i also changed numbers due to me dropping my whole phone in the ocean." you say as sav laughs at the last part.
"the ocean???" ney questions as he struggles to hold back a laugh.
"i was on a cruise with sav during summer vacation and all of a sudden a stupid seagull came and it took my chips away from my right hand where i also had my phone at the time, making me lose my chips from the bird and my phone at the same time." you finish the story as you hear ney and sav cackling.
"our y/n is always so unfortunate in these situations." ney says making you glare at him.
"you should've been there," she pauses taking a breather, "it was the funniest thing ever...she tried throwing her sandals at the bird but ended up losing that too."
all of a sudden you hear ney smacking the table struggling to breathe as sav tears up from laughing too hard.
"okay guys what the heck, it isn't that funny." you playfully roll your eyes at them as they laughed some more.
after some time, they finally stopped laughing and composed themselves.
"what about you sav?? what happened to your old account?" ney asks.
"back then i could've never brought myself to put down the posts with gavi in it, but now i could probably do it with ease." sav say as you and ney smile, feeling proud of her.
out of the corner of your eye you see someone stand up and walk over to where the restrooms were.
ney notices your eyes and looked back to where you were looking at, a shocked expression now displayed on his face.
"barca's here????" he whisper shouts.
"did you just notice!?" sav whisper shouts at him back as the three of you huddled around whispering to each other.
"i stopped noticing everything around me after i saw you guys." he admits as you laugh at him.
"we could tell from how you ignored your teammate." you whisper to him as he chuckles.
"anyways, did you ever figure out the thing with joao, y/n??" he asks as you shake your head, "really? nothing yet?"
"i mean..knowing him he probably thinks giving me space would be the best choice." you answer him as he nods his head in total agreement.
"yeah that definitely does sound like him..." he hums for a second as he gasps suddenly.
"what? what's wrong?" you ask him as he smiles at you guys.
"do you guys want to come to this party for football players?" he asks as you both looked at him confused, "it's basically where football players show up after an intense season of competing with each other. it's like an end of the season party."
"there's things like that??" sav asks as he nods his head.
"yup, there is. especially with this season nearing its end," he answers, "we can bring plus ones."
"but there's two of us." sav says as ney smiles.
"i already have it figured out. i can have my bro, kylian, take one of you guys. i know well he's not bringing anyone." he says smiling.
"ney, it's time to go." you see someone come up to you guys.
"speaking of kylian, this is kylian." ney introduces him.
"oh, hello." he nods his head towards the both of you with a smile as you guys smile back.
"i'm y/n." you held out your hand for a handshake as he complies.
"and i'm sav!" they shook hands as well.
"why are we leaving so early?" ney asks.
"our coach wants us back for training again." kylian explains as ney sighs.
"bye guyssss..." he comes up to hug sav and then you, "text me whenever. love you guys byeee!!" he blows you guys a kiss to which you both reciprocate.
"love you too ney, byeee!" you both say.
"he's still the same goofball we know from high school." sav says as you agree.
