A/n: Here's a special for Valentine's day, sorry its rushed I usually pull these one shots together last minute as it is currently Valentine's day already so I'm rushing A LOT.

Mattheo's Pov-

I had it all planned out. I even bought her Lillies because I knew they were her favorite.

I walked into the flower shop. It was mostly filled with giant bouquets of roses of every color. I saw Blaise picking ones out for Pansy that looked a deep cherry red.

I, of course, went to the back of the shop, where all the other flowers were sold. Y/n says that she likes the Lily flowers because they were her mum's favorite, so that's what I got her,

The prettiest bouquet of lillies I could find. I got her the deep lavender purple ones since purple was her favorite color.

I headed into honey dukes where I saw her shopping for sweets with Pansy.

I just glanced over as I bought a few sweets and rushed back to Hogwarts.

I packaged the sweets in a pretty basket, with rose petals scattered in it since it was still traditional to have something to do with roses... And I could find any lily petals...

I set everything up outside, I asked her to meet me out here around 6:50

It was 7:10

She didn't show.

Pansy walked over to me sitting in the black suit I had put on for Y/n.

"She can't make it." She says, trying to hold back a smile and replace it with one of sympathy.

"Why not-" I ask.

"Sbe just needs to study right now for exams." She interrupts.

"Oh..." I say looking at the picnic i made for her,"Great."

I stand up, abandoning the picnic to go to the library since i should probably go study as well. I walk through the tall snow and- y'know what... Maybe it wasn't thr best weather for a  picnic but anyways, I walk into the castle and into the library.

I walk to the back where I usually study at and there she was, sitting with a bouquet of roses and a basket of sweets.

Someone already asked her didn't they?

"Mattheo!" She says just as I'm about to walk away.

"Sorry, I'm just... Getting a book." I say walking over to a book shelf pulling on at random.

"Why don't you come sit down? I want to talk to you." She says with a smile shoving her gifts under the table.

"I can't-" I begin.

"Please" she asks.

I sigh as I sit to her left as she smiles, pulling out the roses i already saw before.

"Will you be my Valentine?" She asks holding out the roses to me, the blood rushing to her cheeks.

" Of course" I laugh,"but I was going to ask you."

"I know." She said with laugh,"I just wanted to buy you flowers. Plus, do you think I would as if I didn't know? I'm not that confident in myself."

"Well you should be." I say,"anyways... Want to go out to the picnic I mad"

"Its freezing outside." She says,"so of course!"
