"Fritz! There you are! About time you got here," Jerry remarked. Three weeks had flown by really fast. It seemed just like yesterday that the manager had called the investigator. And now he was here in person. Holding his hand out, Jerry continued, "Welcome aboard-"

"Get those money grabbing fingers away from me Jerry," Fritz grumbled, swatting the stretched out hand away from his face. Side stepping around the manager, the red haired investigator finally set his sights upon the vast open field. His eyes widening in shock, he mumbled, "Woah, what happened here?"

"Fire, big one. Burned the whole place to the ground," Jerry explained, walking up to stand beside Fritz. Sighing heavily as he scratched at the back of his neck, the manager went on, "Thankfully it was during the night and not when there were people inside."

"Except your only human security guard."

"Oh, right. Yeah, she got out alright."

"So glad to see you care about your employees..."

"Of course I do, it's a waste of money if something bad happened to them-"

"And what about that?" Fritz asked, pointing towards the center of the cleared field. He was pointing directly at the sinkhole. Patting the red haired investigator on the back, Jerry answered, "We believe the fire started down there and worked its way up to the rest of the mall." Leaning in close, the manager whispered into the other man's ear, "It's also where you and your team will be investigating my friend..."

"Make sure those lines are secure!" Fritz shouted to a fellow coworker. He and his team were all adorning harnesses and headlamps. In a few moments now, they would be descending into the sinkhole and investigating what might possibly be located deep below the surface. Perhaps there would be nothing, or maybe perhaps the answers to everything.

"Hey, Fritz!" Jerry called out, walking over the team. Giving the lead investigator a thumbs up, the manager stated, "Be careful down there, and good luck." Scoffing, Fritz gave him a thumbs up back as he muttered, "Yeah, okay. Don't ever call me to investigate anything related to Fazbear Entertainment ever again."

"Roger that!" Jerry called over his shoulder as he walked away. Within a few steps, his phone rang so he pulled it out of his pocket. Rolling his eyes, Fritz began barking orders to his team. Holding up his phone to his ear, Jerry listened quietly to the speaker on the other end of the line before he spoke, "Yes yes, I know. Don't worry sir." Glancing over his shoulder in time to see the investigators disappear into the sinkhole, he continued, "They just went down."

"Boss, I got a bad feeling about this," one of the rookie members of the team piped up. Making sure his headlamp was on, Fritz murmured, "I have the same feeling Bobby. Everyone, stick close to each other. I don't want anyone getting lost down here."

"Yes sir," everyone on the team responded. Gazing into the darkness, Fritz shuddered. They had gone down quite a ways that it felt cold and clammy down inside the sinkhole. If he had to guess, this sinkhole had been here for quite some time, which begged the question of why would the Pizzaplex be built right over top of it?

A hissing noise caught the team's attention, prompting everyone to halt. "What the bloody heck was that?!" someone cried. The sound came again, sounding closer this time. "Everyone, don't move," Fritz advised. Slowly, he grabbed his flashlight from his belt. Pointing it at the darkness ahead, he flicked it on. A second later, the flashlight fell to the ground as a horrifying growl echoed throughout the dark tunnel.

Then came the screams of terror.
