You were with Hiccup that night, the night he caught the nightfury. You watched as his net flew and caught it, and you watched it fall.
Hiccup cheered and you hugged him, since he was your best friend, and sadly that was it. He pulled you closer when a fireball landed next to both of you, on the side where you were.
That's when you remembered your village was under attack and you ran and hid, giving out weapons with Hiccup.
After the attack ended you helped the wounded and got everyone home. Before you went to your house Hiccup pulled you aside.
"Please come with me to find it tonight? Please?" He asked and looked up at you with puppy dog eyes.
"Of course I'll come." You smiled softly. "What kind of friend would I be if I didn't?" You ask and he chuckled.
He smiled and hugged you, picking you up a bit as he did, which made you laugh. When he set you down you two were close, and staring into each other's eyes.
You both leaned in a bit. You were really going to kiss him, and you were excited. Right before your lips connected you heard his and your father call out your names and walk outside.
Hiccup sighed softly and pulled back. "I'll see you later." He whispered as he walked back. You nodded and waved as you ran into your hut.
                              *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
That night you and hiccup ventured into the woods, following the trail the nightfury carved into the ground.
When you approached the area he was you both hopped down, Hiccup helping you down.
You stood back as Hiccup prepared to kill it, then you watched as he set it free and ran over to you. "I couldn't do it. C'mon, we have to go back." He urged and you both scrambled out.
You ran halfway back to the village before you both got tired. You say on a called branch next to Hiccup and he let you lean on him.
"I'm not Viking enough to be a Viking." He sighed. "I can't even kill a dragon." He groaned. "Or get a girl, that's all my dad talks about, me killing a dragon and finding a girl to marry." He looked down at you.
You were looking up at him. "I know for a fact that one of those things is a lie." You whispered and sat up more.
"Which part?" He whispered. "Th girl or the dragon."
                              "The girl." You leaned in.
                              "How so?"
"You got me." You kissed him softly and, to your surprise, he kissed you back.
"You're the one I was hoping for." He smiled and kissed you again.
You giggled and walked back to your village with him, hand in hand.
