Bilbo pulled you up the hill, making you laugh at the excited little hobbit holding your hand. He was extremely anxious about having you go up with him, and you didn't exactly know why.
Bilbo set up the blanket and sat down, pulling you next to him. He held you close. The reson he was so excited was because this was the anniversary of the day he first saw you. You didn't know that this was why, because it wasn't the first day you saw him.
Your goofball hobbit fell in love with you at first sight, and you him, only those days were differnt for each other. He smiled at you as you snuggled into him.
It was night time, he brought an extra blanket, in case you got cold, and food, of course. He leaid on his back, pulling you with him and you two gazed up at the stars for what seemed like hours.
Soon enough your stomachs growled loudly and you both sat up. You pulled the basket of food over and he opened it, starting to pull out food.
Since you're both little hobbits there was a lot of food. You took turns feeding each other before deaming it was to time consuming and you were to hungry to continue waiting.
You both enduldged yourselves in the meal he had prepared for the two of you, after you finished you both flopped onto your backs, giggling quietly.
He quickly pulled you close and you smiled. "Hey Y/n?" He whispered.
"Yeah?" You whispered back.
"Do you know why I brought you up here?"
"No, but you're gonna tell me." You smiled softly.
"That I am. The first time I saw you, was 4 years ago. You were in that very tree," he pointed to the tree beside the two of you, "and I was sitting on the tree stump directly across from where you were. I saw you and you were the most beautiful thing in the world, and you still are." He leaned over and kissed you softly.
You felt yourself blushing as you kissed back. Soon enough you both had to pull back to breathe.
"I love you Y/n." He murmured.
"I love you too Bilbo.
