A/N Cause I saw the Deadpool movie...
You sighed, walking down an alley way on your way home, chewing gum and blowing bubbles as you did. You were on your way to your apartment, your jacket wrapped around you tightly as you walked. You froze in your tracks, listening as gunshots erupted from the opposite end of the alley. You turned and gasped, trying to move out of the way but one of the men, who was running away ran up to you, catching you and pointing a gun at you're head.
"Oh cmon, hostages now?" The masked man asked and he casually walked over, bearing two katanas on his back as he approached. "That's not challenging at all." You could eat the smirk on his face as he quickly tossed a knife at the gun, knocking it out of his hand and then shooting the man in the head.
You froze in shook before jumping away from the dead body. You found yourself shaking, shock consuming you. Wade watched you, feeling bad that an innocent girl was pulled into this.
As calm as he could, he approached you, taking your hands in his and having you look at him. He used his most comforting and serious tone. "Hey, shhh, you're ok now. I wasn't gonna let him hurt you, and I'm not gonna hurt you either." He said comfortingly, pulling you into his chest.
Your erratic breathing ceased as he gently pulled you close, laying your head on his chest. You're breathing slowed and you shut your eyes, relaxing in his arms.
He ran his hand over your back, never having been this serious for anyone. From that moment he know you were something special. "I'm gonna take you back to place ok? Just to make sure you're ok. Is that alright?" He asked.
You nodded and he picked you up, bridal style, and walked down a few alleys, letting you curl up to his chest and hold onto him. Shortly he arrived, opening the door with his foot and entered, kicking the door shut and laying you on the couch.
The combination of your shock and the late hour had proved too much for you. As soon as your head hit the cushion you were out like a light. Wade smiled, pulling a blanket over you and pulling up his mask, pressing his scared lips to you're forehead before helping Al with her things and changing out of his costume.
He was happy you were different, and hoped you would still be different when you saw him, that you wouldn't stare awkwardly or get frightened. He hoped that you'd stay and get to know him.
"And that she did. Alright folks thank you all for coming! Kaylee and I both know this isn't your typical Deadpool one shot, trust me. I tried to tell her that the reader should do me a solid and give me a little something, you know what I mean. But she said 'no, you can be all nice and serious and not pervy for 5 minutes' and she's right. I can, it's just not as fun...anyway, see you around! Now signing off! Deadpool out!"
