A Day Out

The arising Sun was fortunate enough to witness the most beautiful sight behind the Gateway of India where the love birds held their hands twirling and singing THEIR song

Sivaangi's giggles and happiness radiated throughout the place making the pigeons dance to her non-stoppable tunes.

"Right now, I am the happiest girl in the worldddddd" she screamed petrifying a few morning walkers who looked at the couple weirdly.

"Maa kathadha, ellarum namba paithiyam nu nenapanga" Ashwin closed her mouth with his palm.

"Pcch..Ada po pa" she removed her mask and sunglasses getting ready to scream again but stopped hearing him

"Mask podu mask podu mask poduma" he repeated making her whine

"Ayyo idhu Mumbai Ashwineyy, inga yaarukum nambala theriyadhu" she reasoned.

"No no no, inga neraya namba fans irukkanga. Naan pathurka Twitter la" he covered her mask and dragged her from the place to their next destination.

"Inga enjoy panna vandhurkom, neenga enna ingayum restrict pandringa ponga ponga" she walked ahead with a fake anger

"Seri seri kochikadha, un ishtam pola iru, maatikita samalachikalam. Namakku enna pudhusa" he stopped holding her elbows and pulled her to him pecking her red flared nose.

"Pesuradhu ellam pesitu, ippadi oru umma kuduka vendiyadhu, hmm" she mumbled making him chuckle and give her a strong kiss on her cheeks as he couldn't resist her antics

"Appadi dhan di pannuven" he kissed her cheeks repeatedly giving her a sweet shock

"Enna Ashwineyy enna sollitu, ipadi pandra public la" she wondered if he was alright

"Adhellam paasam, affection uh" he mimicked earning a smack.

Their never ending banters, eating on the streets, window shopping to hand in hand walking, the couple had a memorable day out, with a lot of memories to capture and carry with them for a lifetime.

This was indeed their first outing without her parents accompanying them, as they were busy with their schedules and Sivaangi grew restless with each passing day as she could not meet or spend time with Ashwin with their jam-packed shootings.

A couple of days ago-

"Why are you so grumpy today?" Ashwin asked when he knew she was not herself

"Hmm nothing" she sighed looking away and twisting her lips

"Maa unakku pudicha Blueberry pie la senju un munnadi vechurka, but you seem disinterested. Are you ok?" he touched her forehead and neck to check her temperature before she snapped his hand and walked away to the balcony

He sighed "Edho plan potuta. Aunty you were right" he thought looking at her retreating figure before following her with the pie that he had prepared

He sat on the swing that he had placed in the corner of the balcony and placed the pie on the nearby table "Inga vaa" he pulled her to his lap

"Sollu enna aachu?" he asked lifting her face which was comfortably hidden in his broad chest.

She looked at him with eyes filled with tears panicking him.

"Maa please sollu ennachu, you're frightening me" he cupped her face and wiped her tears which were overflowing now

"I.. I.. I am missing you Ashwin.. I am missing us.. I'm scared we might fall apart with each day getting busier. I don't even remember when we last met" struggled to finish amidst the continuous sobs making him embrace her completely under him.
