Better Swan

Part 7

Rosalie's POV

I was fed up with the Edward's Blood singer and her constant staring at us through the fact that Edward wasn't there. The only reason she hasn't approached us is because she is scared of me. I also know that Isabella brushes Alex and Charlie off about us when she can and I'm glad Isabella doesn't know where Alex lives. 

Because she would even harass her there. I'll sum up the week that Edward was gone was hell where I thought I'd kill the Blood singer myself. Finally after his week of not being there the golden boy came home 

'' You'd be gone one big day and you wouldn't have to worry about your bloodlust'' was the only thing I said to him. When he returned he did his best to make her discover what we were by leaving her clues. 

Like an idiot he saved her from being crushed by a car. The only slip was when he said he couldn't go to the first beach on La Push and gave a stupid excuse. There she learned about the legends and I knew she would soon know. 

I spent less and less time at home and with coven because I couldn't bear to talk about Isabella. Alice acts as if Isabella will be our centre of interest and we will all be friends. 

In a situation like this I'm glad Alex lets us be in her house and I still don't know but I'm happy that they don't know where Alex lives. 

The day the nightmares became true or Isabella knows the truth

It was a sunny day today and apparently Isabella was to discover what we were. I knew I would stay away from the bag of blood and I was sure Jasper and Emmett would do the same. We decided to go hunting in the morning and then to Alex's because I don't want to sit at home with them. 

We gathered to leave but a sweetly denigrating voice stopped us '' Where are you going'' asked Alice '' To go hunting and for a walk in the woods'' said Jasper and before she had time to say anything we ran out of the house. 

I caught two deer each with Jasper and Emmett went to catch a bear and a deer. As always we checked to see if he was young or had children. This way we don't destroy the species and we are sure no one will notice the deficiencies. 

After a good meal, we headed back to Alex's house knowing that we would have a fresh rest from our coven. I can't manage to call them my family because of their behaviour. After we ate we headed towards Alex's house and I saw that she was there for good luck. 

I could hear her in her studio surely working on a new painting. I could hear her singing while she was working. It's a shame she doesn't sing for people because she has the true voice of an angel:

When she finished singing, we started clapping and it seems that we scared her a little bit because she jumped up. She put her hand on her chest '' You have to stop doing that. One day I'm going to have a heart attack because of you '' she said

 '' I'll never let you do that. You stay with me forever'' Jasper said seriously and I saw his eyes darken. Alex immediately fumed '' Major this is just a joke you know that. Calm down and give Jasper control I know you both will always protect me'' she said and hugged him. 

If I didn't know better I would have thought Jasper and Alex were lovers but both separately and together they told us they only saw each other as siblings. I was a little jealous of their bond but I quickly got over it. 

We sat with her and talked until it started to get dark. By the time we got home it was dark and the first thing we heard from Alice was '' She knows '' and I knew that Isabella knew our secret. 

I didn't have the strength to argue with them and went to my room knowing that Emmett and Jasper were following. I pulled out my phone and called Alex to warn her. 

I had only one goal in mind right now, so that Isabella or the rest of the coven wouldn't find out that Charlie and Alex knew what we were or about Alex's powers. I will not let them destroy her life and force her to join this stupid coven.
