Better Swan

Part 15

Couple of days later

Alex's POV

I was working on another painting for a client it was a painting of him with his wife with a sunset background. Jasper has been sitting home with me correcting mistakes in the history book and playing with Blue. 

Give you a summary of the course of events over the last few days. Isabella found out about the pack and why Jake was avoiding her. She wanted to become the centre of attention with them when Victoria found out but they didn't agree. 

She came to Sam's house every day and moaned and said how the Cullens treated her better and other things. She threw a tantrum when she found out I knew about the wolves in front of her and screamed for why I didn't tell her. 

She wanted to know where I lived to talk to me but none of the shapeshifters would show her where I lived and that caused her another tantrum. On the good side she doesn't know Jasper is in the Forks so we are at peace about that. I decided to make us something to eat.

Jacob's POV

Ever since Isabella or the DEMON as Alex calls her found out what I was she has not given me a break. I also don't know where she got the idea that I love her and want to be with her. I try to keep her away from the rest but it's not easy. 

I can't keep winding her up with how Edward was the love of her life and how the Cullens are nicer to her than we are. Recently she has started to persuade me to take over the Alpha role in the pack but she doesn't want to do it. Sam has been a wolf longer than me and is a very good leader. I prefer to focus on learning rather than leading others and I told everyone about it. 

Everyone supports my decision and Sam has told me that if I feels ready he will give me the role because it is my legacy. I spoke to Alex at length about this too and she told me to do what was best for me. 

I don't know what I would do without Alex she is like my third big sister and she helped me a lot when I was growing up and still gives me very good advice. Alex has shown me what kind of person Isabella really is and thanks to her I don't behave like a behaved puppy towards Isabella. 

I know she would use that to her advantage and to get her way. I was sad that Alex was changed into a vampire without her permission but I am glad that she kept most of her human traits. I tried to accept this and it took me a while to accept it fully but I did it so I wouldn't lose Alex. 

What surprised me was what happened to Blue but I managed to accept that too and get used to it. I am glad that Alex will always have a companion by her side. Hopefully when she finds her mate he will treat her like a Queen if not then he will have to deal with me along with the whole pack plus Rose, Emmett and Jasper. 

Let's not forget Charlie because we know he will do anything for Alex without blinking an eye. I had a hard time coming to terms with the idea of him wanting to turn into a vampire but I understand why I want to do it. I would do the same thing if my dad was turned into a vampire. 

I hoped once we dealt with this red haired vampire things would calm down and we would go back to our normal lives. To the most normal life a wolf shifter and vampire could have.

Some time later

I was patrolling not far from the cliff when I smelt Isabella's gasps and decided to follow the scent. I don't know what that silly clumsy girl is doing not far from the cliff in this weather. When I arrived I saw her land in the water and not emerge. I noticed something red in the water and jumped into the water. 

I saw the vampire move away from Isabella and I caught her pulling her above the water. She quickly recovered and I took her to her house and I wanted to do it quickly because Harry is in hospital because he had a heart attack while hunting. 

I don't know the exact details but I know I need to be in hospital to support my dad and Charlie. When we went to her house I saw one of the car ticks '' It's one of the Cullens car'' she said ''I can't protect you there'' I said but she didn't listen to me and ran into the house. 

I went slowly to find out if the others had come back and I saw that it was just the little one what was her name.... I know it was on A Anna, Alina, Aria no no Alice Yes ALICE. She turned her attention to me for a moment and started talking about how dangerous it was to be around me. 

The phone rang and I could see they weren't paying attention so I decided to answer it myself. It was her lover and I decided to say that Charlie was at the funeral and the next thing I knew Isabella and tan vampire were on their way to Italy. 

I stood at home for a moment to digest everything and then headed to the hospital. when I arrived I got the wonderful news that Harry was going to recover but we had a small problem. Leah and Seth have been turned into wolves by what happened to their dad but I managed to get others to help them turn back into people. 

I didn't want to give them bad news but I knew the sooner they found out the better. I pulled Jasper, Alex aside knowing that they would explain it better than me and Jasper would help the others stay calm. 

I told them everything calmly and I thought Alex would explode with anger if Jasper wasn't next to her. She took a deep breath and went to Sam and told him about the situation. We waited some more time and took the others away from the people to tell them about the situation and that there was a great possibility that the Cullens would return to the Forks. 

Charlie immediately took his phone and called Isabella when she didn't answer he texted her. He informed her that he was fed up with her chessing, that she was not his child and that she was a disown. And that if she wanted to live in Forks she had to get a place because she had no place in his house for such an ungrateful, spoilt child. 

I knew Isabella would throw a tantrum when she came back but she will blame herself for the way she behaved. Now we have to wait for the leeches to come back and think about what to do with them.
