"I think I'm dumb"
"BUH-BYE now." My grandma started to greet my friends out the door.
"Get out." My grandpa started to do the same, a little more aggressively.
Jay flashed me a smile before taking a cupcake and being the last one out the door.
"We're sorry grandpa." Leia spoke on the behalf of both of us.
"Look, I've been through this once before and I'm not going to do this again without some ground rules. So you tell your friends no eating my food, no drinking my drinks, and if they go into my room, my foot goes in their ass." My grandpa stated with a stern face.
We both nodded and he walked to the table and read his newspaper.
"I think they think I'm cooler than I am." Leia told my grandma.
"Yeah me too." I let out.
"Since we got here it's been amazing, we smoked a ..... ham and tapped a.... ham." Leia finished her sentence sounding like a question.
"I'm worried they're expecting more ham, you know." Leia spoke again.
My grandma then proceeded to say that we were overthinking and that we should just invite them back for a movie night.

LEIA, my grandma and I stood staring at the films, thinking about which to pick.
"Maybe we should fast-forward to the part where you pick a movie." My grandma spoke.
I let out a small laugh at the pun, however it was soon cut short once I spotted a certain brunette.
"Hey, I'm going to go ask for some help yeah?" I turned to my grandma and Leia before walking to the counter.
"Stick em up!" I lowered my voice in attempt to scare Jay.
"Ah take my money! Take everything! My boss never locks her car! Her license plate says Movieslut. I know I don't want to say it! I'm just letting you know! Please." His voice quivered.
"Jay, it's just me, I was Joking." I giggled.
He cleared his throat and wiped a tear before turning to me.
"I didn't think you worked here." I spoke.
"I didn't want to brag about being in Showbusiness." He smirked.
Mesmerizing.
"Leia and I are hosting a movie night and we were struggling with what movie to watch and I noticed you here and wanted to ask for your opinion." I rambled.
"You sure you just didn't want an excuse to talk to me." He flashed me a smile.
I began to blush before shaking my head.
"N-no I uh really w-wanted your opinion." I stuttered.
I could tell Jay was having a grand time watching me fall apart.
He shook his head and let out a laugh. "I was only joking Luna."
I simply nodded my head in return.
"To fix your dilemma, my favourite film is clerks, I'm sure you'd love it." He softened his tone while looking at me.
"Perfect." I smiled.
He then checked to see if he had it, he didn't, some guy had it for six weeks. I didn't want to let Leia and Jay down so I quickly wrote down the address when Jay was called to the back.

"WELCOME to movie night!" Leia excitedly announced.
She really wanted this to be perfect.
"It's going to be pretty major so to kick things right off, I got everyone their own box of raisin bran!"
Everyone gave her blank looks before she continued, "Everyone loves it! No uh did that not happen?"she awkwardly rambled.
I waited till everyone sat down and Leia put the movie in until I closed the light and walked over to the couch.
I was about to sit next to Ozzie before Jay grabbed my hand. "Sit next to me?"
Thank god the lights were off or he would see how bright my face was.
"Ok." I smiled into my reply.
As soon as I sat down Jay wrapped his arm around me, at first I was stiff but I slowly melted into his touch.
"Hey MTV! Im Leo, man. Im 74 years young, man. Id be Perfect for the Real World Man."
The tv started to show the guy who gave us the movie.
Great. Leia wanted this to be perfect.
"Uh forget movies? Does anyone have any funny stories?" Leia tried to save the night.
Nate then started to grunt which Leia mistook for having a story but really he was choking on the Raisin Bran.
"Give him something to drink!" Nikki panicked.
Leia then passed her a caprisun and Nate slowly regained composure.
Then Jay started to choke and I found myself patting his back.
"Nah! You gotta clear it out like this." Nate instructed Jay.
"Leia you should be an event planner this is so fun." Nikki sarcastically said.
"I'm sorry! I really just wanted this to be a perfect night!" Leia said before walking outside.
I began to stand up before Gwen turned to me, " I got this one Luna."
But before she left she whispered her next words, "Go back to loverboy." She wiggled her eyebrows and I began to blush.
Gwen then walked outside and I sat back down.
"Thanks for helping me not choke." Jay flashed me a smile.
That god damn smile.
I nodded.
We sat there just looking at eachother. I felt Jay lean in and I quickly got up.
"I really like Caprisuns, did you know that. They are real great. I'm going to go get one right now." I walked to the back of the room, fumbling the juice box in my hand.
Then Nate found another bag of weed and ran outside to go tell my sister and Gwen.
They all came back inside and we decided to watch Free Willy while smoking the bag.
I sat next to Ozzie this time. We all watched in anticipation wondering if Willy could do it. He did and we all jumped up and cheered.
Soon everyone left but Nikki stopped me before she left, "What was that? Jay was going to kiss you."
I let out a sigh, bracing myself for embarrassment.
"I never really kissed anyone before. I guess I just got scared and you guys were in the room and it really wasn't an ideal time to say hey I can't suck face! You know what I mean." I rambled.
Nikki let out a small laugh, "Don't worry, I think you should talk to Jay about it, I think he really likes you."
I smiled at the girl before nodding and waving goodbye.
