"Wish away, the soul is cheap"
I WAS currently eating Doritos sitting next to Jay on the couch.
We were all watching Dirty Dancing and I struggled to breathe every time Patrick Swayze showed up on screen.
He was so dreamy.
"Luna?" Jay waved his hand in front of my face.
"Yeah?" I answered with my eyes still fixated on the screen.
"Could you pass me a coke?" Jay asked.
"Uh yeah sure." I reached to my left, eyes still on the tv and grabbed the coke.
"He's not even that good looking!" Jay started.
" I mean at least go for someone like Christian Slayter!" He continued.
I finally looked past the tv and met Jay's eyes.
"Really? Slayter is no match for Swayze!" I protested.
"But I don't look like Swayze." He mumbled.
"You don't resemble Christian either." I smirked.
He sent me a glare, one that I knew wasn't for real.
Nikki then turned to me and Leia, "So who are the birthday girls!"
I felt a smile grow on my face. I didn't have friends back in Chicago to celebrate my birthday with. I was beyond thrilled.
"That's right You're going to be 15." Gwen nudged Leia.
"And so are You." She pointed to me with a smile.
"Our grandparents are throwing a little party We'd love it if you guys came." I smiled.
"Oh my God! Yes you guys need to come!" Leia cheered.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." I felt Jays lips brush my ear as he whispered.
My face turned pink and I let out a small laugh.
"You're the best." I whispered back.
"Better than Swayze?" He smirked.
"Better than Swayze." I spoke.
"wait? What? Luna? Really?" Jay frantically
asked and I simply nodded with a giggle.
"Yes." He mumbled making a gesture with his fist.
"Dork." I laughed.

IT WAS my birthday!
I woke up and walked downstairs in my Spider-Man pyjamas.
I met Leia at the top of the stairs and wished her a happy birthday.
"Thanks Luna! You too." She embraced me in a hug.
As soon as we stepped foot in the kitchen our grandparents wished us similar birthday wishes. Grandpa bob was also here, he wished us aswell.
"You girls go have fun with your friends be back at 4! That's when the party starts!" Our grandma cheered.
I looked at Leia and we ran upstairs.
"What are you going to wear?" I asked.
"Oh my God I haven't even thought about that! I want to impress Gwen." Leia smiled with flushed cheeks.
