Chapter Twenty-Three | Happy

Summer

HAPPY. I am in a state where I focus my eyes; it flowers. It becomes colorful, full of life, and comfortable. I'm still the spontaneous Summer Antoinette Lewis, the business-minded Summer and now the published author Summer.

"Thank you so much!" I said and grant the reader's request of photo op. Ngumiti pa uli ako pagkatapos saka matamang sumandal habang hinihintay na may lumapit reader ulit.

I am on a local bookshop in Soho and we're conducting a book signing event.

It was all about a princess wannabe that experienced a real royal struggle, fell in love, got broken, and started anew in the city that never sleeps. In short, it's my story and how I got an actual life prince who supported me until the book was published. I am too much to handle, but Isaac bears everything and the changes in his world.

It's been a year since I said yes to the man who changed my world. He always saying that I am not too much for him. Some people took forever that kind of love. While I, on the other hand got it unexpectedly.

Unexpected. That's how I describe everything about Isaac and me.

"Can you sign this for me, Ms. Lewis?" "I tried to use my fiancé card but it's not applicable here."

I chuckled.

"I want Chinese for lunch and a cup of salted caramel gelato," sabi ko sabay abot ng libro sa kanya.

Dear Future Husband,

I can't wait to marry you. Thank you, and I love you so much!

Your Future Wife,
Summer Lewis-McAllister

PS: Thank God you bought a copy. I already gave away all my complimentary copies. But I'll reimburse you with love later.

"Your place or mine?" tanong niya.

"Our place." "Do you want to come with me?"

Going home with the man I love feels different.

And this is His plan for me. To make me live a happier life with the man I love...

"YOU SHOULD order the same set as mine."

For someone who grew up having another person to taste their food first for them, Isaac leveled up because of me. I make sure naman na malinis ang kinakain niya kahit kung saan saan ko siya dinadala.
