| CHAPTER 2 |

Mary walked up to the door

Anastasia hesitantly said "come in"

The room was silent

Only the footsteps of the person coming into the room was heard
It's was Annalise?

Anastasia thought *what is she doing here*

Annalise came into the room with that sweet smile she always uses, she was wearing a simple yellow dress with her hair half up and tied with a yellow ribbon

Anastasia looked her up and down feeling embarrassed because she was still wearing her night gown

Then she suddenly saw the basket Annalise was holding, she thought to her self *is she trying to poison me or something?*

Annalise walked up to Anastasia swinging the basket side to side.

"I was hoping sister Anastasia would want to have a picnic with me?"
She talked in a soft and shy tone

Mary left the room to let them have privacy

Anastasia froze for a moment before putting on a sweet smile, as enchanting as the smile her sister does

Annalise was shocked for a second because she never really saw her sister smile ,well she has but she never knew they shared that charming smile she thought she could only do

Then Anastasia spoke "sure sister! I'd be happy too!" Still smiling

Annalise spoke "oh... thankfully you said yes, I was just hesitant to ask you because I thought you still didn't feel well, even though the doctor said you where fine now"

"Oh no! I feel so much better now sissy, I really want to talk to you! Maybe you even want to go to the shops around the city?"

Annalise was again shocked at the sudden suggestion from Anastasia, she knew her sister never really wanted to go out of the palace. She thought

*did this b!*ch change or something?*

Annalise hesitantly said "ok sister, I'll be waiting for you at the carriage down stairs!"

Anastasia nodded as Annalise left the room

Anastasia asked Mary to come back in and prepare a dress for her and a bath

A few minutes later....

Mary walked up to Anastasia

Anastasia was brushing her long silky silver hair

Mary suddenly spoke "the bath is now ready for you miss"

Anastasia nodded as Mary led her to the bathroom

After taking a bath Mary led her to her closet and there where 3 dresses ready for her

First dress was a blue dress that had a ribbon in the back and long sleeves

Second dress was a yellow dress just like her sisters dress but was a bit more pastel and was longer

Third dress was a white dress with lace in the front and puffed up sleeves

Anastasia didn't want to wear colourful dresses for now so she picked the white dress, it's was simple and she knew that white was eye catching and stood out in the crowd

Mary helped her change in it and they walked back to her room and to the vanity

Anastasia sat down while Mary picked up a white ribbon and carefully tied Anastasias hair into a half up and half down low ponytail, she tied the white ribbon to the ponytail

Mary handed a bag with money inside to Anastasia, Anastasia was confused but then she remembered her parents gave them weekly allowance to discipline them.
But she always saves some of it for some stuff important in the future

Mary walked Anastasia to the carriage and Anastasia saw Annalise waiting there

ANNALISES POV

*ugh what took her so long, people shouldn't keep me waiting like this*

She rolled her eyes before putting on a smile

She had a plan... she needed to make Anastasias reputation become bad again because she was gaining attention because people where worried she was sick and Annalise was jealous and mad and she knew she needed to get her well deserved attention back

But she didn't know Anastasia already knew her plan and Anastasia had one too...

ANASTASIAS POV

*I know what your planning you b!tch*

She smiled at Annalise and the 2 guards coming with them, Mary and Annalises personal maid couldn't come with them

Anastasia and Annalise went into the carriage and they talked about the Zylexs kingdoms crown princes upcoming debut

Annalise really wanted to become the crown princes's fiancé, and she knew Anastasia did too but she didn't have the confidence to just come up to him so she took that advantage and talked bad about her infront of the prince

But now Anastasia knows what she will do so she will fight for her rights and charm the crown prince.

A few minutes talking about the debut they finally arrived at the town square where the richest nobles shop, today there where a decent amount of people not to much to call the town square crowded

They stepped out the carriage and people where already looking at the carriage because it had the royal symbol on it, they already knew it was Annalise because she often went there to shop

People gathered around, mostly young noble men because most of the young ladies where jealous of Annalises beauty but they didn't know how Annalises sister looked like and how beautiful she was. They didn't expect much because of how her sister talked about her

Annalise joyfully stepped down the carriage with a sweet and charming smile white her hair flowing in the air as she walked to the crowd. She noticed how people where looking at the carriage and not her so she got mad, she 'accidentally' tripped, she shouted softly "ouch!"

Tears started flowing down her cheeks

Shethe got dirt on her dress and hands and that caught the young noble mens attention so they hurriedly ran towards her.

She was happy with this reaction but the the noble ladies just rolled their eyes and scoffed, while the men patted the dirt off her dress and wiped her hands with their handkerchiefs

They helped Annalise up and Annalise softly spoke to them "thank you so much for helping me I'm fine now" then she smiled with a sad expression on her face.

One of the guys where about to talk
"I-"
But then the carriage door opened and the crowd was confused?

*huh? Who could it be?*

*is it the empress?! OMG*

*who else came?*

Anastasia walked down gracefully and towards the crowd and Annalise, then she spoke
