-Quinn pov-
"So I thought we could hang out today" My mom puts the bait on her hook and then casts her line into the ice hole "I have not done this in forever!"

"What Uh is this exactly?" Her head slowly turns toward me and I see the big look of disbelief on her face "What?"

"I failed you" She hands me her pole and pulls out a beer from the cooler "My dad and I would come out when I turned decent age, fish, and drink...it was the only time I truly knew he loved me. He would always bring his radio out and when I was ready to tell him my secret he played a song"

-Radio playing-

Johnny's daddy was takin' him fishin'
When he was eight years old
A little girl came through the front gate
Holdin' a fishin' pole

His dad looked down and smiled
Said, "We can't leave her behind
Son, I know you don't want her to go
But someday you'll change your mind"

And Johnny said
"Take Jimmy Johnson
Take Tommy Thompson
Take my best friend Bo"

"Take anybody that you want
As long as she don't go
Take any boy in the world
Daddy please, don't take the girl"

Same old boy, same sweet girl
Ten years down the road
He held her tight and kissed her lips
In front of the picture show

Stranger came and pulled a gun
Grabbed her by the arm
Said, "If you do what I tell you to
There won't be any harm"

And Johnny said
"Take my money
Take my wallet
Take my credit cards"

"Here's the watch that my grandpa gave me
Here's the key to my car
Mister, give it a whirl
But please don't take the girl"

Same old boy, same sweet girl
Five years down the road
There's gonna be a little one
And she says it's time to go

Doctor says
"The baby's fine
But you'll have to leave
'Cause his momma's
Fading fast"

And Johnny hit his knees
And there he prayed
"Take the very breath You gave me
Take the heart from my chest"

"I'll gladly take her place if You'll let me
Make this my last request
Take me out of this world
God, please don't take the girl"

Johnny's daddy
Was takin' him fishin'
When he was eight years old

"You are a lesbian?" Mom nods with a frown as she sips her beer "Why did you never tell me? Why be with dad?"

"My mom hated it and I got drunk one night while upset" Mom sighs and shakes her head "Two weeks later I was pregnant and Russel was there"

"Apple meet tree" We both laugh and I look at her in a new light "I am proud to be your daughter mom"

"Thanks" She looks at me and hands me a bottle "No one has to know..unless Santana got you pregnant again and in that case then please do not drink"

"You knew?" She nods and I am about to speak when the rod shakes "What is happening?"

"You got a fish" Mom grabs my hands as I struggle "Pull it up! Reel it in!"

We struggle against the fish just to end up in the water. We emerge and look at each other for a minute. We both burst into laughter as we get out. This will be a memory I look back fondly on.

I hope we can still make some more.

-Santana pov-
"So you two are not actually together?" My parents shake their heads leaving me confused "So Uh why this then?"

"Cause of this" I follow my dads line of sight and see my Abuela coming "Just smile!"

"What am I doing here?" She sits down with a frown "I believe I was clear son"

"But we wanted to surprise you" Dad smiles widely "Plus I am still happy you have no internet still Ma"

I am confused until Rachel walks out with her dads. They are on the stage and wearing some tight clothes. I look around and it all clicks in my head. We are in a gay community restaurant.

Oh shit.

-Berrys singing-

And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know, wo wo wo
God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who pray, hey hey hey
Hey hey hey

We'd like to know a little bit about you for our files
We'd like to help you learn to help yourself
Look around you, all you see are sympathetic eyes
Stroll around the grounds until you feel at home

And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know, wo wo wo
God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who pray, hey hey hey
Hey hey hey

Hide it in a hiding place where no one ever goes
Put it in your pantry with your cupcakes
It's a little secret, just the Robinsons' affair
Most of all, you've got to hide it from the kids

Coo coo ca-choo, Mrs. Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know, wo wo wo
God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who pray, hey hey hey
Hey hey hey

Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon
Going to the candidates' debate
Laugh about it, shout about it
When you've got to choose
Every way you look at it you lose

Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio?
A nation turns its lonely eyes to you, wo wo wo
What's that you say, Mrs. Robinson
'Joltin Joe' has left and gone away, hey hey hey
Hey hey hey

"Ugh too many gays" Abuela sighs "She needs to be adopted by a good family"

"Well I guess so do I cause I am gay" I hear a gasp and then my grandma is running away "No wait! I wanted to tell you how much I love men!"

My mom laughs as dad sits back down. I look at my parents who look more free. This Christmas is going to be even more interesting. The Berrys soon join us and we have a great time.

I am so happy I was brought to their house this Christmas time. I hope we can do this again forever.
