Chapter 22: "Tripitaka Kidnapped"

(Alya Pov)

Around the afternoon, the rest of us continued towards the westward path. Passing by many trees and mountains.

I look over the blue skies as clouds above us passed by, I couldn't help but to think about Wukong.

After Tripitaka sent Wukong away, things have been quiet for a couple hours or so. It was strange not getting bothered every 10 minutes. I've gotten so used to Wukong being around but now, seeing he's not here is just...empty.

Not saying the rest of the group such as Pigsy and Sandy aren't fun to talk to, I grew fondly of Sandy's and mines conversations. Pigsy on the other hand, it takes time. It's just...it's hard not to think about him. I-In a friendly way of course.

I stared at the trees we've passed by, as Sandy is taking the lead, I was walking beside Tripitaka along side with the Dragon Horse while Pigsy was behind us. So far, things have been normal. And peaceful since it's been a couple of hours we havent run into any demons or monsters. That's a relief.

After crossing through valleys, we made in inside the forest once again.

Sandy slowed down his pace and looked around us, and looked over Tripitaka

"Everything's clear master" he said, making Tripitaka nod

"We can rest here for now, maybe a small break would be nice" Tripitaka said, slowing down the horse

Sandy nodded walked over to the Dragon Horse and started petting his mane, while he was doing so, I helped Tripitaka down from the saddle. Earning a Thank You from him, Pigsy flopped onto the ground, dropping his weapon and bags. He yawned outloud and stretches his arms and legs. Tired from the constant walking,

I mean, I don't blame him, it's not exactly easy walking for hours to no end.

Tripitaka looked over towards Pigsy and smiled,

"Pigsy, why don't you go find us some food?" Tripitaka asked, making Pigsy glare over to him

"Me, Alya and Sandy will wait here until you're arrival" Tripitaka smiled to him, only earning Pigsy a annoyed groan

"Ughh--I just sat down. This journey is too difficult" he moaned, his ears droopy and tiredly,

"Just go and find food. The sooner you leave, the sooner you'll come back and sleep again" I tell him, he looked over to me. Glaring, and about to say something but sighed heavily,

"I would argue back but I'm too tired to do so" he said sitting up, before walking away, searching for some food

Tripitaka sat down and started to pray to himself, along side with Sandy who was meditating along side him

I sat on a rock, looking at the path we'll be taking once we're finish with our break.

'Atleast we're traveling in peace, at the moment. We're going to run into another demon and, God I have no idea how I will defend myself. Wukong did taught me a few things about defense but we had so little time to properly getting started with our training..I wonder where he is right now'

"Alya, why don't you join us?" I hear Tripitaka call for my name,

I turn my head over my shoulder, only to see Tripitaka looking over to me while Sandy was still meditating

I shrugged my shoulders and got down from the rock, walking over to him and in the process sat down next to him.
