Chapter 33: "The King's Ghost"

(Alya Pov)

After what happened back at Cloudy Pete. We kept on traveling for sometime now. Until we took a break, hearing Pigsy drop our bags and fell back. He groaned outloud,

"Ugghh...my feet are killing me...how much longer do we need to keep on going? I feel like we've been walking over a century" Pigsy whined over to us,

"Oh come on Pigsy, the walk hasn't been that long--" Sandy replied but was soon cut off by Pigsy,

"ITS BEEN 5 HOURS. COME ON" Pigsy glared over at Sandy who scratched the back of his neck

"We have been walking for a while..." Tripitaka said, looking over at me

"What do you think Alya?" Tripitaka asked me, but I was in the middle of massaging my legs. In comfort from the long walk, I'll admit, I had to agree with Pigsy

Tripitaka looked over at me, waiting for a responds. Catching me off guard, I stopped rubbing my legs and stuttered

"O-oh right!..." I said, moving my hand away from my legs and smiled embarrassed. Wasn't exactly expecting the attention turn to me.

I look over at the sky, only to see the sun setting. Before feeling the wind grow a little colder.

This was going to be a cold night as to what I can tell...

"It seems like night is coming close...I wonder where Wukong is" I said, looking over at the sky. In hopes he's coming towards us right now.

Pigsy sat up and looked over at me, rolling his eyes

"Oh my gosh Alya, for once, stop crying where Wukong is.." he said, making me glare over at Pigsy while feeling my cheeks grow warm

"Oh shut up! I don't just think about Wukong, I think about everyone else!" I glared,

Pigsy crossed his arms and smirked,

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah!" I glared down at my own feet,

Feeling the silence fall heavy, I glance back up to see Tripitaka, Sandy, even the Dragon Horse stare at me. Feeling as they all silently join Pigsy side and just stared at me and my answer.

"....shut up" I glance back down, hearing everyone chuckle at my embarrassed state,

Tripitaka soon sat beside me and smiled

"Dont feel bothered by Pigsys comment" Tripitaka smiled, giving me a light pat on my shoulder

I nodded, but kept my glare at Pigsy

"Im gonna get something to drink" I say, getting up and walked over to the Dragon Horse.

Tripitaka laughed a little as Sandy walked over to him, asking if he wanted to eat something while waiting for Wukongs return.

Walking over to the Dragon horse side, i take out the bottle that hung beside the bags but accidentally felt my own bag slip. Creating a mess of my own things fall out, even my cell phone.

Gasping, I rushed towards my phone, ans shoved it back into my bag. Nervously trying to pretend as if that didn't happen. I tried putting everything back inside my bag, my shampoo, towels, the bottle Wukong gave for injuries and my notebook.

As I picked up my notebook. A piece of paper slipped out in-between the covers. It seemd like a photo

Picking up and turning it around,

I froze, as the sudden realization of what this piece of photo i kept in my bag. My gaze widen but quickly soften, gazing down at the photo in my hand...
