Chapter 14

"What did you do?" Trevor asked

"I made him go mental." I whispered

"How?" Sam asked

"I gave him extreme visions. I don't know how I did it." I said

I looked at my hands.

"You did that?" Sam said

"I couldn't have him coming after us! I just made him stay away from us." I said

I walked back up to my room and fell asleep. I woke up to my phone ringing. I checked the caller ID. Sam. I picked it up.

"Did I wake you?" Sam asked

"No." I said

"Oh okay. We are at the beach about to play volleyball. We left earlier but we didn't want to wake you."

"I'll be down in a minute." I said

I hung up. I put on a sport bra and running shorts. I brushed my hair and slipped on my flip flops. I shoved my phone in my butt pocket and walked out to the beach. Kian, Ricky, Connor, Trevor, Sam and Jc were standing around. Kian's back was to me. I smiled. I took off my flip flops and placed them on the sand and ran over to Kian.I jumped on his back. He almost fell over.

"Hello to you too." Kian said

I jumped off of him and we started playing. My team was Connor, Ricky and me. Kian's team was him, Trevor, Jc and Sam. Sam and me were the only good players. My team ended up winning 10-4. It was 90 at 11 am so we decided to go get ice cream. After that we went home. The troops had left overnight. I walked upstairs to my room. My phone started ringing. I checked the caller ID. John. I picked it up.

"Hey." I said

"Melissa, stay with the guys. I'm coming to the house." John said frantically

"What's happening?" I asked

"Pack as much as you can for everyone. Don't let anyone leave."

I hung up.

"Pack a bag. Everyone." I said

Everyone hurried upstairs to back a small bag. I heard John's car come into the driveway. I hurried everyone out the door. We all went in different cars. I sat in John's car.

"What is going on?" I asked

"We have to get you out of the country. Harry escaped from jail and he's after you." John said

"Its not possible John. I made him see things that were unbearable. You couldn't even imagine them. He can come after me. That prison is surrounded by forests right?" I said

"Yeah."

"He'll be dead in a matter of hours. He's mentally unstable and he can't make decisions for himself. He won't survive." I said
