Rosie's POV

Many people do not like there job.

It could be for a number of reasons, whether it being from having to wake up early and work until late at night, the constant tasks that need time and energy, the coworkers who make their lives difficult, the bosses who drive them up a wall, the unappreciated work they do, to the doing the routine over and over again that it becomes a monotonous cycle that feels endless

All valid reasons, however I am not one of those people

Believe it or not I love the work I do, regardless of the tireless tasks, the unappreciated work, and the demands of both bosses and coworkers

There was something about the corporate world that added thrill to my life, and yet at the same time security, the corporate world or as I like to call it the corporate game was predictable as long as you knew how to play it not to mention it was something I did well

I might be working a bit too hard for someone who is only getting a assistant salary which is barely enough to meet ends meet, but I've been very privileged to not have to worry about my expenses, at least for a while. Since I didn't have to deal with the stress and worry on when Im gonna get my next meal, I had the emotional, and mentally capabilities to deal with difficult people not to mention my patience and leniency attributes, who my mother says I inherited from my father, I had no issues with the corporate game and the territory and obstacles that came with it

Which is probably why I didn't really mind staying late,  past working hours, most of the lights off, with no one left in the office besides me and Mr Blake in his own office

even before when I was still working with Tanner, I never went home before he did, not just because we were dating, regardless if it was just a mere cover for him, but because I didn't want him to burden himself with working tasks on his own

That practice applies even more now that I'm Mr Blake's assistant

Although he seemed determined to not call me at all, diving into whatever it is he's doing, going so far as to close his door, possibly uncomfortably by the presence of his assistant from what Ive been told most of his assistant either didn't last long enough to finish a working day, or always left the second working hours were done

Maybe I should take this as a hint to just pack my things and head home for the night, but at the same time I couldn't bring myself to leave knowing he would be here until who knows where

I don't think my conscience would let me either, it didn't seem fair to just leave knowing my boss was still working

So I also worked on tasks and preparing the schedule for the week while he worked on his own, and would do so until he started packing then I would wait 10 mins after he left before leaving as well, making an excuse that I had to finish up my tasks from earlier even though I had already finished hours ago

I decided to work on formulating strategies go achieve goals

The main goal?

Fixing Mr Blakes reputation.

So far I like to think its going well, I've made a list of things that could help boost his reputation, and then I plan to formulate and execution plan for each item, and then discuss it with Mr Blake, where he can choose which of the plans he would like to do, or any changes and suggestions he might have

I was quite pleased by my progress, as I scanned the list
