Hu Tao's eyes gently opened as she heard a soft humming, she would've loved to continue listening to the voice if she wasn't panicking at the fact that her legs and arms were tied up and that she was getting bridal carried down Wuwang hill. She looked up to see who was carrying her, only to see the one and only Yelan... did she commit a crime and not realize it? I mean why else would she be getting carried down by a crime stopper? No response, Yelan didn't even bat en eye she just continued to hum "I promise you I didn't commit any crimes, atleast none that I'm aware of." Hu tao said trying to Untie the ropes around her wrists, and falling "Oh you're completely innocent" Yelan responded "I just got bored" She shrugged "Bored of what you fight treasure hoarders all the time and in your free time you gamble!! I don't know what the fuck that was but I do know I need to get to the funeral parlor, I would rather go back to Wuwang hill but I know she would catch me much easier if I go back there. I've been running for almost an hour now and I can hear yelan behind me, scratch going to the funeral parlor I'd be safe at the inn I can see it but it might take another hour to get there... oh well if it means getting away from this creep it's a win "You're getting nowhere!" I heard her yell "Really because I'm pretty sure wangshu inn is somewhere" I yelled back Run, run, run! I'm so close! "A new test subject!" I heard a voice say Ugh treasure hoarders this will be simple enough I summoned my polearm and... nothing. I don't have my polearm!? I swear i brought it with me! I'm not that dumb "Looking for this?" I hear yelan say from afar I look up to the hill she's standing on only to see her holding my polearm "Hey! Give that back!" I screamed *snap* "Oops" She... she broke my polearm.. That bitch broke my polearm! I didn't know what do to any more, I was surrounded by treasure hoarders with no way to defend myself. I looked up at Yelan who had a smirk on her face, she looked so happy, like she wanted this to happen, like she planned this, I know she wants me to ask her for help but I know she'll catch me if I do or even guilt me by using the fact she saved me... wait a minute these aren't fatui they're treasure hoarders I took out a bag filled with 30 000 mora in in and gave it to them, the leader of the group smirked and walked off the rest following then I was back to running

How on earth!? Hu Tao really is more then what meets the eye good thing I planned ahead with this, if I take a turn here then I'll be able to cut infront of her near the inn. Checkmate

It's been thirty minutes since Hu Tao started running again, she could see the inn and couldn't hear Yelan running behind her she looked around just to make sure but eventually deemed that it was safe for her to slow down slightly and slowing down eventually just turned into her walking. While she was walking she heard rustling from behind her she assumed it was a wild animal but wasn't willing to risk it so she took of running again.
Hu Tao pov
I'm so close, just an island away from the inn I got so excited I started to sprint full speed when "Ah!" I yelled as I tripped over a... glowing.. blue.. rope.. How did she get here before me?! Was it when I was walking?! No no no I can't go out like this! Get up Hu Tao! Get up!! Yelan slowly walked up to me like a predator would to it's pray.... "Hm. I will say this was quite fun, don't you think?" I didn't respond "Unfortunately the sun will be rising soon so no more games let's get you home." She said menacingly I opened my mouth to speak but the world went black as I slowly fell asleep.. When I woke back up I was in a room.. a rather luxurious one too. The bed I was laying on was gorgeous I assumed this was Yelan's house so even though I loved this room I needed to leave asap. When I got out of the bed I realized that I was no longer wearing my old clothes

Crazy bitch locked me in a room and expected me to not try to escape? HA! Funny I broke open one of the windows with a heavy book I found and swiftly jumped out, which was alot harder in this dress then I thought it would be. While I was walking around the harbor I found out after asking around that the time was 6:43 lucky me! As i continued walking around I ended up running into little yao yao "Oh! Sorry little one" I apologized I didn't feel like arguing about Qiqi with a child... again. It's been some time since I left the house Most of the streets of liyue were empty now some stores closing or are closed it's really beautiful if you take time to look at it. Unfortunately the beautiful peace was ruined by the sight of a very disappointed Yelan walking towards me. It was barely 3 seconds and I was already tied up and am being carried back to the house, a shame.. When we arrived back Yelan brought me back to the room I was in and dropped me on the floor "Ow!" I yelled putting a hand on my back to sooth the pain, after about a minute I got up and looked at Yelan opening my mouth to speak then *slap* "I asked you to do one thing! ONE! And you still couldn't listen!" She yelled I touched the side of my face that Yelan slapped and just couldn't help it, i started to cry I didn't want to I just did... "W-wait are you crying because of m-me?" The idiot asked "Oh honey I'm so sorry I didn't mean to make you cry" she added as she picked me up bridal style and brought me to the bed where she sat down and gently but me on her lap "Shhh~ it's ok I promise" she reassured me as she gently ran her fingers through my hair "Y'know if you just listened this would've never happened" she said "But I'm sure you learned your lesson darling" she said Slowly she started to hum she hummed the same song I sang to myself every day, I slowly drift to sleep in her arms and listen to the sound of her heart beating silently praying it stops.
