She went by many tittles.
Empress of sumeru.
Empress Y/n.
Lady Y/n.
No one dared to say her name without a title before it. Not even the sages.
A person who was highly feared. Yet she was still kind to everyone... atleast, everyone that didn't cross her.
"Little forest ranger, this is not a safe place for you to be treading."
The green haired forest ranger almost jumps out of her skin when she hears your voice
"E-empress Y/n!?"
Collei whips her head around to face you in a panic
"Yes? You must be... Collei! Tighnari has talked about you."
You smile at her
"You know mister Tighnari?"
Collei looks beyond confused after you mentioned Tighnari
"Yes. Tighnari is a close friend of mine. Now, as I was saying, you shouldn't be here."
You cross your arms which scares Collei for some reason.
"W-why?"
Collei looks around fearfully
"Because this is the royal guards practice zone. If you were to get unlucky, they might've mistook you for one of the animals that they practice with."
You shake your head
"Really?"
Her eyes widen
"Mhm"
You nod
"Let me lead you back to civilization"
You offer her your hand
Collei doesn't take your hand.
"Okay.."
Collei follows you as you walk to the exit of the forest
"How will they know not to attack you? D-don't take that the wrong way, please!"
Collei trys not to offend you
"My sleeves!"
You move your long sleeve and the bells decorating the ends make an elegant jingle sound
"Ohhh! How did I not notice that..?"
She wonders
"It's common to not acknowledge such a small detail. Think nothing of it."
You smile at her
To you, all you were doing was helping a lost forest ranger from getting hurt. But to Collei, you were doing a gesture to show that you care about her. Like a mother to her child, she assumes...

"Hello Tighnari!"
You wave to your friend as he walks up to you in the forest
"Hey N/n"
He waves back to you
"Do you need anything?"
You tilt your head slightly
"Not particularly. I just wanted to talk. Last week, Collei came up to me looking pretty excited and she told me that she met the Empress."
He smirks
"Yes, she did meet the Empress."
You make a small stupid bow
"So high and mighty, huh?"
Tighnari shakes his head
"Shut up, you've been graced with my presence."
"Do not go there."
He looks at you sternly
You laugh at his reaction
"Sorry sorry!"
"Anyways, I noticed that she has one of the bells from your sleeve. I don't know why but I don't think she plans on giving it back, like ever."
"That's fine! It's just a measly bell!"
You brush it off as it's not something that matters
"Wasn't that single bell 18 000 mora?"
"Yes, it was. So observant!"
"Don't treat me like a child, Y/n."
You giggle once more
"You're so immature... How is sumeru still functioning with you as it's ruler?"
"Hey! Remember who you're talking to!"
"Don't use that against me!"
"I will kill Cyno."
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Yeah, you're right. I wouldn't."
Unknowingly to both of you, Collei was watching from a distance, in a tall tree. She got a good first impression of you... that started her obsession, but S̶t̶a̶l̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ watching you in all your glory has definitely increased it... she wants you to adopt her for some reason... since she met you, she felt like you were motherly, a perfect mother for her....
"I hear something..."
You look around after Tighnari says that
"I'm sure it's just an animal."
"Don't doubt my ears"
From a distance you hear a voice break the tension
"I feel bad for calendars."
"Not again..."
Tighnari slouches his shoulders
"I recognize that voice..."
You look at the place where the voice is coming from
"Because, it's days are numbered."
Cyno walks out of the forest to where you and Tighnari are
"That was awful."
You laugh slightly
"I am going to strangle you."
Tighnari glares at Cyno
Collei is watching this like it's the best show in all of teyvat. Her own personal show.

Collei kept "accidentally" bumping into you. You're not sure how she manages to bump into you almost every where you go, it's not like she planned ahead so that she'd be a every place you'd be.
"Lady Y/n!"
Collei walks up to you
"Hey I know this is pretty random but I was wondering if you would like to have tea with me."
She adds
"I can't say no to a cup of tea! Well, I can and I would if you were a stranger, but you're a student of my friend and I've become acquainted with you, so lead the way."
You follow Collei as she walks
Collei smiles to herself as she walks. She's slowly but surely gaining your trust... she's unsure how she's going to gwt you to adopt her somehow but she'll figure it out somehow. Hopefully....

This wasn't good. But whatever, the idea of an empress Y/n has been stuck in my head for months. I might end up writing more Empress Y/n. Not sure yet.
