*Weeks later after graduation*
Cat's POV
After finally graduating college I'm ready to move forward with my life I'm beginning to look into music and singing.. I just don't know but I'm gonna be performing at the VMAs this weekend a new song that I wrote called "True love" I'm so excited for that and I've temporarily moved in with Dean until we decide to get a place of our own.
I'm sipping a glass of rosé when Dean wraps his arms around me from behind.
I smile "Hey handsome"
He smiles back "Hey beautiful." He says kissing my cheek
"So are you excited about performing this weekend?" He asks
"I am. The song I'll be singing is..uh..it's...uh...about..." I trail off
He turns me in his arms "What's it about baby?"
I blush "You." I whisper
He smiles "What was that?"
I chuckle "It's about you..okay?"
"Aww baby that's so sweet. I can't wait to hear it." He says smiling
"I hope you'll like it. It's called "True love" I say smiling
He chuckles "Am I your true love?"
"Is that a stupid question?" I ask
He laughs "Yes?"
I kissing his lips "Yes you big dumb you are."
"You are my true love as well baby." He says smiling
"I'm glad to be." I say smiling
He nods then his expression turns serious.
"Is everything okay?" I ask
He sighs "Cat, have you ever thought about marriage?"
I'm taken back by his question but still reply.
"Of course I have. Have you?" I ask
"I've been thinking about for a few weeks now.." he says
"I have no problem with marriage, I'd be thrilled to be Mrs. Winchester." I say smiling
He sighs relieved "I'm so relieved to hear that."
"What's brought this on?" I ask smiling
"Cat I wanna settle down I don't wanna look for anyone else. I want you to be my wife I want you to carry my future children. I'm almost 30 I'm 25 years old now."
"So are you saying you want to have kids before you are 30?" I ask
"I'd like to but I know you are 23 now and just starting your career I don't wanna hold you back." He says
I sigh and wrap my arms around his neck "How about this let me see where this thing goes and if it doesn't go the way I hope then we can start trying for kids but I wanna be engaged or at least married first." I say smiling
"That can be arranged." He says wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Good then it's settled if it doesn't work out I'll get a simple job as waitress or cashier something we will figure it out." I say smiling
He smiles back "Sounds like a plan."
"Good now help me figure out what wear for my VMAs performance!!" I beam
He chuckles "Okay beautiful."
