As all the members necessary were seated at the table, the dishes began to be dished out in order from the highest position to the lowest. After his father, was his step-mother, him, and then his younger half-brother. However, his portion was directly skipped, it could be seen that the Lord kept to his words. He couldn't help but look regretfully at the dining table, but he couldn't allow his guest to come here all alone in this stifling dining room.

Then another dish came out, the Madam couldn't help but narrow her eyes as it neared the two boys. Her mouth was close to cursing out which servant that was brave enough to ignore the order of the Lord. To her surprise the plate landed to the seat next to Killian.

The teenager named Lucifer Clarimbert watched as the plates came out with dazzled eyes, "Wow, who is your chef? I might just snatch him for myself!"

Darius was already gloomy because he wasn't allowed to eat, so he pursued his lips and refused directly, "No way, the chef is a valuable addition to our family. We won't let you have him.." His eyes darted in the Lord's direction as if to assure himself.

Lucifer could feel he was upset and tried to counter the situation, "Alright, alright, I was just joking. I'll just come over more often no need to steal the chef from you." His silver hair swished in the air as he gobbled up the food with bliss, "Really good!"

His hands fumbled in his pockets as he glanced over jealously, he shouldn't have stubbornly missed dinner yesterday. Even if he's tired the feeling of nausea because of not eating all day was the worse feeling in the world. Darius did his best to control himself, if not, he might've have started hoarding food from the kitchen starting from his first day transmigrating over. He had to keep the dignity of the young master. After all he lent his body to him... or maybe he borrowed it illegally. He wasn't exactly sure what happened to the original.

Of course, the irregularity would soon be noticed by people who weren't informed of the situation. Although the servants were quiet now, they would surely go back to gossip in their quarters about the mistreatment of the eldest young master of the Trevino household. It was well-known among the insiders that one son was held in a higher regard than the other; however, it was also well known that everyone besides the main household members preferred the bullied but gentle and kind eldest young master.

At this point even Lucifer noticed the abnormality. Why does everyone have a plate in front of them but Killian? His heart raced when he recalled the scene just now of being reprimanded by his own younger brother and having little to no one standing up for Killian. His brain flashed to the time he met Killian at the lunch line and he didn't even have a coin to afford the cheapest set. Does Killian's family really starve him? How despicable! They don't even give him lunch money!

"Are you alright?" The white cockatoo nudged at him concern and anger filling his round eyes, "We can share?"

Darius quickly conjured up an excuse, "No, I'm dieting."

Lucifer half-believed and half-didn't-believe in his excuse. He looked over at Killian's family members eating undisturbed, and even down at his own plate then looked sympathetically at Darius, "It's hard on you."

Darius stiltedly coughed to the side, "Yes.."

Bringing the fork with beautifully charred steak in front of him as if he would shove it in Darius mouth the next second, he questioned, "You really won't try?"

Don't tempt him, Darius warned in an grievous mood. He gulped once and shook his head adamantly, "I'm gaining weight." For a moment, he could feel a person side-glancing at him and felt even more pressure to deny, "Plus, it's bad to eat too much or else I'd get a stomach ache..."
